I am linking up again for the Weekly Run Down with Kim and Deborah.

I signed up for – yet – another challenge (WHAT’S ONE MORE? LOL). This time it’s Peloton’s own Countdown to Turkey Burn Challenge. It is a three-week cross-training program designed to improve strength and endurance. The program includes three days of strength training, two days of cardio (ride, run, or row), and one 60-minute session “stacked however you want.” You earn a special badge if you complete 18 classes of the Countdown to Turkey Burn Collection. (These classes are new and offered on a LIVE schedule, but you can also take them on demand at your own convenience.)
I’ve been doing a lot of pivoting again this week, but what else is new. I am still catching up on the Team Wilpers Fall Run Challenge. It’s been officially over for two weeks, but I am hellbent on finishing it. Just watch me slide right into the Holiday Run Challenge, which will start in about two weeks.
Monday
- 5 Min Body Scan Meditation – Anna (7/9/24) — Grateful Gram
- 5 Min Pre-Run Warm Up – Matt (7/22/21)
- Team Wilpers Fall Run Challenge W4R3 – Hilly Long Run

- 30 Days of Thanks & Planks – 30 seconds
I finally got around to do the long run that I had already planned to complete over the weekend. It was a “hilly” long run (I tried to find hills where I could in my mostly “flat” neighborhood.)

Tuesday
- 10 Min Mediation for Anxiety – Anna (10/28/25)
- 30 Min Countdown to Turkey Burn Full Body Strength, WK1D1 – Andy (11/4/25)
- 20 Min 80s Ride – Leanne (11/4/25)
- 20 Min Focus Flow: Hips – Kristin (5/16/23) — Grateful Gram/Personal Streak
- 30 Days of Thanks & Planks – 35 seconds
I completed the first Countdown to Turkey Burn Full Body Strength class today and really enjoyed it. Then, I joined my friend (and BCBabe1)Kristin for a LIVE 80s Ride with (pregnant) Leanne. She was glowing. I also really enjoyed Kristin McGee’s ‘Focus Flow for Hips’ from the ‘Grateful Gram‘ (see below).
Wednesday
- 10 Min Gratitude Meditation – Anna (9/19/23)
- 5 Min Pre-Ride Warm Up – Bradley (6/14/25)
- 45 Min Power Zone Endurance Ride – CDE (5/18/25) — 1800th Ride

- 15 Min Countdown to TB Mobility – Andy (11/4/25)
- 10 Min Focus Flow: Floor Poses – Anna (8/19/25)
I was planning to run today, but there was rain in the forecast, and Tanja invited me to join for a 45-minute power zone endurance ride instead. I hadn’t done a 45-minute ride in a while and let’s just say, it was sweaty. I also completed a core and a mobility class for the Turkey Burn Challenge.

Thursday
- 10 Min Morning Meditation – Chelsea (11/5/25)
- 15 Min Pop Punk Pilates – Aditi (9/5/24) — Grateful Gram

- 15 Min Morning Yoga Flow – Nico (5/1/25) — Personal Streak/Grateful for Self Care
- 30 Min Countdown to TB Run – Becs (11/3/25)
I had a bit of a stressful day, didn’t feel that great when I got up, and decided on an active rest day. I took a pilates and yoga class in the morning, and later, I took the Countdown to TB Run as an afternoon walk. It was nice to get outside and clear my mind.
Friday
- 10 Morning Meditation – Kristin (3/7/24)
- 30 Min Countdown to TB Full Body Strength W1D4 – Andy (11/5/25)
- 30 Days Thanks & Planks – 45 seconds

I ran errands in the morning and got a little strength training done in the afternoon.
Saturday
- 10 Min Flow & Let Go Mediation – Aditi (10/18/25) — Grateful for Self Care
- 5 Min Pre-Run Warm Up – Matt (5/14/25)

- 10 Min Cool Down Walk – Becs (8/7/24)
- 5 Min Post-Run Stretch – Rebecca (10/8/25)
- 20 Min Focus Flow: For Runners – Mariana (2/14/24)
- 30 Days Thanks & Planks – 45 seconds
I got outside for another run this morning. I am having a hard time sticking to a schedule this week and procrastinated on this run for three days, but there was no excuse today. It was a glorious morning, sunshine and 61°F/16°C on November 8. I cannot complain. Plus, as you know, I just love the V02 intervals.
Also, the focus flow for runners with Mariana was really nice, and the plank challenge (see here) is going well. 45 seconds are still very doable for me.

Sunday
- 10 Min Peace Meditation – Anna (2/13/24)
- 5 Min Warm Up Ride – Denis (8/18/25)
- 30 Min Countdown to TB Ride, Wk1D2 – Robin (11/3/25)
- 5 Min Cool Down Ride – Bradley (9/23/25)
- 10 Min Full Body Stretch – JJ (11/23/23) — Grateful for Self Care
- 30 Days Thanks & Planks – 50 seconds
- 20 Min Restorative Yoga – Kristin (11/4/22) — Serenity Sunday
- 10 Min Calming Meditation – Aditi (1/21/21) — Serenity Sunday
I decided to get another Turkey Burn Class done today (I have completed 7 out of 18), and I really enjoyed the Full Body Stretch for the selfcare tracker. I also joined yoga and meditation again for Serenity Sunday. It’s such a nice Sunday ritual.
Current Challenges + Trackers:

For the first week of November, I completed the classes from my friend (and fellow #BCBabe1) Lindsay’s ‘Grateful Gram‘ (five of her favorite classes (5, 10, 15, 20, and 30 minutes long). I really enjoyed Kristin’s focus flow for the hips.
I also checked off quite a few boxes on the self-care tracker, and I maintained my yoga streak. The focus tracker – which is meditation this month – fills itself because I’ve also been doing daily meditation for quite a while.

November 10, 2025 at 5:25 amI do kind of miss Peloton around the holidays, because they do such a good job with the holiday themes. These all sound fun- i love the Thanks and Planks and Grateful Gram. As usual you’re doing a great job of mixing strength, cardio, yoga, meditation… you really are doing it all!

November 10, 2025 at 6:00 amI’m glad you’re enjoying all the peloton challenges so much! I’ve never really explored them, but it seems like it is really motivating and a fun way to have lots of variety.

November 10, 2025 at 7:22 amYou remind me of my daughter-in-law Jaime, who is a serious runner. She coaches the cross-country track teams, boys and girls, at the high school where she teaches.
I’ve never been a runner, or into regular exercise like that. Perhaps I should have been, but commuting over an hour one way to work for 30 years, plus a side gig that required travel, a huge family, and gardens, chickens, etc filled my days. Now I still garde , walk when I can, and re-do furniture. It isn’t enough, though. Need to do more but at 74 I am still doing pretty well physically.

November 10, 2025 at 10:32 amWay to go, San. I’m not doing any T-giving challenges. It will be challenging enough to get out and move in the cold weather. Last week was still warm enough to workout outside (walking or running). It snowed overnight here the last two nights. Crud.

November 11, 2025 at 4:31 amI love this, San! I thought about the Turkey Burn challenge, but this is just my second month on Peloton, and I thought I might continue with what I’m doing and build up slowly. I’m enjoying it so much, and I don’t want to burn myself out. I can’t imagine a 45-minute ride just yet! Twenty minutes is my butt’s limit on the seat right now! 🤣 I’m thinking of trying a different seat. Do you use the original?
