2: Weekly Run Down 44/52 – Road Trip

This week’s stats:

Running: 3.6 mi
Cycling: 16.67 mi
Walking: 16.5 mi
Bootcamp: 30 min
Strength: 30 min
Yoga/Pilates/Barre: 105 min
Warm up/Stretching: 30 min
Meditation: 95 min

I am linking up again for the Weekly Run Down with Kim and Deborah.

Another off-week from my workout routine because Jon and I traveled to SoCal for a few days, but I am just keep going with the flow and fit in what I can. That seems to be the theme for the month year anyway.

Monday

  • 15 Min Body Scan Meditation – Ross (1/7/24)
  • 20 Min Halloween Full Body Strength – Andy (10/24/25) — Costume Party
  • 10 Min Focus Flow: Core – Chelsea (5/12/25) — Personal Streak

We drove down to SoCal today, so a quick workout stack before our departure had to do. Andy’s Halloween Strength Class was candy-themed and hilarious. Take it, if you haven’t.

Tuesday

  • 20 Min Calming Walking Meditation – Anna (7/3/24)
  • 77 Min Outdoor Walking
  • 42 Min Outdoor Walking
  • 10 Min Restorative Yoga – Aditi (10/10/25) — Personal Streak

Beach walks > structured exercise was the motto of the day! I was not mad about it.

Wednesday

  • 10 Min Morning Meditation – Anna (6/3/25)
  • 10 Min Halloween Arms & Light Weights – Sam (10/25/24) — Costume Party
  • 15 Min Evening Yoga Flow – Chelsea (9/23/24) — Personal Streak

We drove back up north today and I was tired and deserved a nap after a 6+ hour drive, but I did squeeze in a very small workout stack before bedtime.

Thursday

  • 10 Min Jason Universe Meditation – Denis (10/27/25)
  • 30 Min Halloween Yoga Flow – Kristin (10/28/22) — Perstonal Streak/Spooktakular Self-Care
  • 30 Min Power Zone Endurance Ride – Matt (4/20/25)
  • 5 Min Cool Down Ride – Matt (10/8/25)
  • 5 Min Post-Ride Stretch – Matt (11/21/24)

I slept in this morning, procrastinated today, but got a burst of afternoon energy and got on the bike for an endurance ride. I also really enjoyed an old Halloween yoga flow with Kristin (McGee, who is no longer with Peloton, and I miss her. I hope they won’t get rid of her classes for a long time).

Friday

  • 10 Min Daily Meditation – Kirra (10/26/25)
  • 5 Min Pre-Run Warm Up – Matt (7/22/21)
  • Team Wilpers Fall Run Challenge W4R2 | Steady State Run
    • 30 Min Country Run – Matt (12/14/23)
  • 10 Min Cool Down Run – Matt (6/24/25)
  • 10 Min Focus Flow: For Runners – Denis (4/9/24) — Personal Streak

I got out for my annual Halloween Run this morning, which I also used to catch up on the Team Wilpers Fall Run Challenge. I did a steady state run, but my Garmin died during my run, so I have no “proof” (= graph), so you just have to believe me.

Saturday

  • 10 Min Calming Mediation – Anna (10/14/25)
  • 33 Min Outdoor Walking
  • 10 Min Restorative Yoga – Kristin (3/19/24) — Personal Streak/Grateful for Self-Care
  • 30 Days of Thanks & Planks – Day 1: 20 seconds

I was pretty much gone all day (to meet up my friend Susi and Meike) and only had time for a meditation in the morning and a quick restorative yoga class when I got home, but I did go for a leisure walk with my friend Susi in the afternoon. I also picked a “yoga flow with an instructor I am thankful for” (Kristin McGee) for the self-care tracker.

Oh, and it’s November 1, and I started the 30 Days of Thanks & Planks Challenge with my #pelobestie Tanja. I am not sure how long I can currently hold a plank – definitely more than the 20 seconds the challenge asked for today – but we’re hoping to hold a 3-minute plank by the end of November.

Sunday

  • 10 Min Morning Meditation – Aditi (11/1/25)
  • 5 Min Warm Up Ride – Denis (8/18/25)
  • 30 Min Bootcamp: Upper Body – Jess S (2/20/25) — Grateful Gram
  • 30 Days of Thanks & Planks – Day 2: 30 seconds
  • 20 Min Restorative Yoga – Kirra (7/23/24) – Personal Streak/Serenity Sunday
  • 10 Min Gratitude Meditation – Ross (3/26/21) — Serenity Sunday

I started the new ‘Grateful Gram‘ tracker today. How it works is that all our Streakers365 admins put together a “gram” of 5 of their favorite classes (5, 10, 15, 20, and 30 minutes long) and we can pick four (out of 9 suggested ‘grams’) to be completed over the course of each week in November. To start, I chose my fellow #BCBabe1 Lindsay’s Grateful Gram and completed the 30 min Upper Body Bootcamp today. I hadn’t done a bootcamp in a while and it was fun! I also joined the Streakers365 for yoga and meditation for Serenity Sunday.

Current Challenges + Trackers:

I finished the October trackers. I only picked three, because I knew October would be busy with my parents’ visit and all that, but I am glad I still had some structure in my day to complete a few trackers.

Streaker365 Spooktakular Self-Care
Streaker365 October Personal Streak (Daily Yoga)

New November trackers – hooray! I always get excited to start new challenges every month. Our Streakers365 admin team is so creative and keeps coming up with new ideas! I am doing the Grateful Gram tracker (each week, I’ll be completing a “gram” of five classes suggested by our Streakers365 admins), I’ll work on the focus tracker (meditation) and the selfcare tracker, and continue my personal daily yoga streak.

Streaker365 November Personal Streak (Daily Yoga)

  1. I’m all about the walks on the beach and hooray for meeting up with friends. I say that’s a great excuse to put off exercise. I’m curious what the candy themed workout was like, and how it was funny. I don’t do Peleton classes, but I think you do enough for both of us. ;)

  2. I’m behind ditching the structured workouts in favour of a good beach walk. You are so regular with your training. It is amazing.

  3. It sounds like you are doing great to me! I tend to be all or nothing. It’s much better to squeeze in what you can when you can.

  4. Yeah for some beach time and some soul wandering. I think beaches are so calming.
I am wondering if I should list all the exercise too in order to see it more clearly what I am doing. Mhm….

  5. Ooh, I like “Thanks and planks”. Maybe I’ll join in that challenge (three days late).
Yes, you have been traveling a lot this year! I didn’t realize it was a 6 hour drive to SoCal from where you are- but, California is a long state! Nice job keeping things going this week.

  6. I think it’s great that you have been so flexible with your workouts this year. Definitely more than one way to stay fit, as I have learned (had to!) this year :) !!

  7. Nice week, especially with all those Halloween-themed workouts! Good luck with the planking challenge!

  8. Beach walks are the best! Looking forward to mine in December. I’m in a core challenge for November but this month is so busy we’ll see how that does! Blogging every day is hard!

  9. I would definitely choose walking on the beach! How wonderful! So when you fill in your trackers, do you use Photoshop? Where do you get the photos of the instructors?

  10. […] the focus flow for runners with Mariana was really nice, and the plank challenge (see here) is going well. 45 seconds are still very doable for […]
