2025 Weekly Run Down 39/52 – Team Wilpers Fall Run Challenge 2025

I decided to join the next Team Wilpers Fall Run Challenge this week because I just like knowing what I am supposed to do on my run days. Since I just tested at the end of the Summer Run Challenge, I did not repeat the 20-minute distance test for this challenge, but will be working with my current paces. They feel pretty spot-on right now, but I am hoping to improve a bit again by the end of the 6-week training plan.

Monday

Monday was a low-key day with a bit of strength training. I am still chipping away at the Build Up to Push Ups Program. Hopefully it will pay off.

Today was for a little bit of everything – a little bit of barre, a short focus flow, a 20-minute ride, and a (virtual) lunchtime walk with my #BCBabe friends Sherry and Kristin.

I wore the wrong running shorts this morning. Anything that is not black makes it look like I peed my pants by the end of a sweaty workout, but who cares? Haha! I got to run threshold repeats!

I got out early for my long run today, which was not truly what I would consider long, but 60 minutes is a good chunk of time. I also joined my Streakers365 team for Serenity Sunday again in the afternoon. It was a nice little break from a bunch of chores that I was trying to complete.

  1. I ALWAYS wear black shorts for running, ha ha…
    The Team Wilpers challenge looks really good. I’m sure it’s helpful to have that structure. And, that build up to pushups program sounds great. I need a “build up to pull ups” lol.
    Nice job on all the yoga and meditation. You really have a nice variety of activities!

  2. I few a light pair of shorts and I love them, but if I get caught in the rain…. it’s not good. Not good at all.

  7. Black leggings, all the way. Even though I cannot run anymore.
    Love the graphs – although several of them looked a bit funky on my end, I got the gist. ;) Data are always good!
