This week’s stats:

Running: 6.5 mi
Cycling: 35.8 mi
Walking: 15 mi
Strength: 65 min
Yoga/Pilates/Barre: 55 min
Warm up/Stretching/Mobility: 85 min
Meditation: 145 min

I am linking up again for the Weekly Run Down with Kim and Deborah.

This week was a week to get back into a workout routine. I’ve been out of one for a little while, and although I’ve maintained a workout schedule, nothing about it has been structured. I am planning to start a training plan next week, so this week was for a hodgepodge of strength and mobility training, yoga, a couple of rides, and a couple of runs. Peloton was also hosting the “Britney Week” Challenge, so I took some Britney Spears classes just for fun.

Monday

  • 10 Min Daily Meditation – Kirra (3/9/25)
  • 20 Min Mobility for Longevity – Adrian (5/17/25)
  • 20 Min Strength for Runners – Matt (6/4/24)
  • 20 Min Britney Spears Hike – Jon (6/22/25)
  • 20 Min Sleep Meditation – Ross (6/28/21)

I started my morning with some mobility work (if you’re not doing mobility, what are you even doing?) and a strength class for runners. I also used my lunch break for a Britney Spears hike with Jon Hosking.

Tuesday

  • 10 Min Gratitude Meditation – Kristin (11/21/22)
  • 5 Min Pre-Run Warm Up – Rebecca (7/17/24)
  • 30 Midn Rock Run – Matt (6/21/25) — All Star Dudes
  • 10 Min Britney Spears Full Body Stretch – Matty (6/22/25)
  • 20 Min Sleep Meditation – Kristin (8/12/21)

I am proud of myself that I got myself out the door before 7 am for a quick 5k before work. I am trying hard to make this a habit again. The mornings are glorious right now, and I really don’t have any excuse NOT to take advantage.

Wednesday

  • 10 Min Morning Meditation – Aditi (6/24/25)
  • 20 Min Morning Yoga Flow – Anna (2/4/25) — Personal Streak
  • 10 Min Sleep Meditation – Denis (6/22/25)

I overslept a little bit this morning, and a short meditation and yoga were all I could fit in before work.

Thursday

  • 10 Morning Meditation – Aditi (6/24/25)
  • 30 Min Strength for Runners – Becs (6/4/24)
  • 10 Min Focus Flow: Hips – Kirra (4/29/25) — Personal Streak

Today I opted for some more strength training for runners and a yoga flow for hips.

Friday

  • 10 Min Morning Meditation – Chelsea (9/19/24)
  • 15 Min Full Body Mobility – Andy (6/11/25)
  • 15 Min Core Strength – Emma (11/9/24)
  • 30 Min Britney Spears Run – Becs (7/16/20)
  • 5 Min Britney Spears Post-Ride Stretch – Charlotte (6/23/25)
  • 30 Min Britney Spears Power Walk – Matty (7/16/20)

I met up with Tanja in the morning for some mobility work (really recommend Andy’s class!) and core, and then laced up my shoes for a quick Britney Spears run with Becs. I also went for a Britney Spears Walk with Matty in the evening and achieved Silver in Peloton’s “Britney Week” Challenge.

Saturday

  • 10 Min Morning Meditation – Chelsea (6/26/25)
  • 30 Min Power Zone Endurance Ride – Denis (3/21/24)
  • 10 Min Evening Yoga – Mariana (9/10/24) — Personal Streak
  • 15 Min Sleep Meditation – Chelsea (6/14/25)

I started my day with meditation and then allowed myself a leisurely morning before heading out to run some errands. I thought I might go for a run in the afternoon, or a walk with Jon. But none of that happened and at 8 pm, I was like “f**k it, I need to do something. I’d better get on the bike”, so I picked a Power Zone Endurance Ride (Zone 2) and an evening yoga class to close out the day. I felt much better.

Sunday

  • 10 Min Daily Meditation – Kirra (12/8/24)
  • 5 Min Warm Up Ride – Leanne (6/16/25)
  • 15 Min Full Body Mobility – Adrian (5/21/24)
  • 15 Min Pilates: Express – Anna (6/2/25)
  • Death by Tens
    • Extra 10: Tabata Ride – Matt (4/6/25)
    • Extra 10: Climb Ride – Hannah F (1/5/25)
    • Extra 10: Low Impact Ride – Alex T (6/3/24)
    • Extra 10: HIIT Ride – Denis (2/9/25)
    • Extra 10: Tabata Ride – Cliff (5/11/25)
    • Extra 10: Climb Ride – Ally (1/3/23)
    • Extra 10: Low Impact Ride – Ben (2/26/24)
    • Extra 10: Tabata Ride – Robin (2/23/25)
    • 10 Min Cool Down Ride: Palomar Mountain – CDE (4/29/34)
  • 20 Min Swimming
  • 20 Min Restorative Yoga – Aditi (4/29/21) — Personal Streak/Serenity Sunday
  • 10 Min Peace Meditation – Nico (3/3/22) — Serenity Sunday

I went a little overboard today. I started my morning with Tanja with some mobility work and Pilates. I originally was going to ride a 30-minute Country Ride with Tanja, but because Tanja had already done a Power Zone Ride beforehand, I told her I would join #BCBabe Sherry for the “Death by Tens” Challenge, so she didn’t have to ride an extra 30 minutes with me. Well, and then realized that Sherry had already finished because they had started at 9 EDT, not PDT. Bummer. I still decided to ride a few of the 10-minute rides, but then it was so much fun that I finished them all. Ha!

It was also a beautiful day to spend time at the community pool for a little while, so I did. I was back home just in time to join the Streakers365 for Serenity Sunday.

Current Challenges + Trackers:

Well, I have to admit defeat for this month. I wasn’t able to fully finish any of the trackers that I picked out in June, and you can see a lot of “red X’s”. But I am going to give myself some grace because I traveled for 2+ weeks and was still able to keep up with my Peloton streak (Day 1648 as of today!). I might not have finished trackers, but I tried to stay as active as possible.

Streaker365 All Star Dudes
Streaker365 Swing into Self Care
Streaker365 June Personal Streak (Daily Yoga)
Streaker365 Serenity Sunday (restorative yoga + meditation)

Did you have a good week? How are the temps where you are?

  1. Britney brings back all the feels. She was such a part of my tween years!

I’m so glad you’re able to get back into a routine. The way I’m looking at it (my exercise has TANKED lately) is that July is the midway point in the year. So I’m seeing it as a fresh start and I’m hoping to start and maintain some great exercise habits in the months ahead. Haven’t quite sorted out what those habits are going to be, and I’d better get cracking – it’s July 1st tomorrow!!!

  2. Sounds like a good comeback week and oof, that Sunday workout! You might be one of the few people in the country having beautiful morning weather, so I’m glad you got out for a couple runs! I’m also glad you’re giving yourself some grace for the month of June- you traveled and had a death in the family. I mean… we’re not robots. You did the best you could and now are ready to get back into your usual routine. I’ll bet that feels good!

  3. Good comeback week! I really like those mobility classes as well. I need to get motivated to get back on my bike. I’ve been enjoying doing the hiking classes on the treadmill and all the strength So many options so little time! Have. Great week

  4. I think it’s okay that you didn’t finish all your trackers. You are so consistent that when life happens and you need to go in a different direction, you’ll be able to get back at it easily enough! Give yourself the grace you need.

  5. Dang, your Sunday was action-packed! Nice week of activity ;-)

  6. Is it wrong to celebrate that you overslept a bit? That had to feel great, sort of? Time at the community pool sounds delightful. Way to go getting out for an early morning 5k. It’s been crazy hot here – even by 7 am. So unusual. There have been a few beautiful mornings lately and they happened to be running days.

  7. Looks like a full and fun week! Morning runs are the best…nice job getting out there early!
