I am linking up again for the Weekly Run Down with Kim and Deborah.

This week was Week 5 of the Saturday Night Zones Power Zone Challenge. I already got a headstart last Sunday when I completed ride 1 – a Power Zone Max Ride – with Tanja. This gave me a bit more flexibility this week and I was able to sprinkle some strength workout throughout my week. I really wanted to get back to some strength training.
However, I did not run this week. Gasp! I know. I had every intention to run this weekend, but I went to the 50501 protest on Saturday, and the day just got away from me. After next week, when I finish the Power Zone Challenge, I am determined to get back into a more regular running routine.
Monday
- 10 Min Morning Meditation – Chelsea (4/1/25)
- 10 Min Yoga Flow – Kristin (2/7/24) — Personal Streak
- 30 Min Backstreet Boys Full Body Strength – Callie (12/12/24) — Collect the Musical Eggs
- 10 Min Upper Body Stretch – JJ (9/30/24) — Egg-ceptional Self-Care
- 15 Min Just Ride: Outdoor
- 15 Min Just Ride: Outdoor
- 15 Min Sleep Meditation – Kristin (10/28/21)
After doing four Power Zone classes in a row, I decided to take a break from cycling and I did a 30-minute BSB Full Body Strength workout for the “Collect the Musical Eggs” tracker. So fun! I did ride my bike to work, so I still got some cycling miles after all.
Tuesday
- 10 Min Witness Meditation – Anna (1/17/24)
- 10 Min Yoga Flow – Denis (12/5/23) — Personal Streak
- 30 Min Epic Sing Along Ride – Jenn (11/10/24) — Collect the Musical Eggs/W5AR
- 5 Min Post-Ride Stretch – Ben (8/11/23)
- 20 Min Sleep Meditation – Anna (11/23/21)
I started my morning with a meditation and a short yoga flow, before hopping on the bike for an Epic Sing Along Ride.
Wednesday
- 10 Min Peace Meditation – Ross (1/10/24)
- 10 Min Focus Flow: Hips – Anna (4/23/24) — Personal Streak
- 30 Min 90s Full Body Strength – Jess S (9/27/22) — Collect the Musical Eggs
- 10 Min Full Body Stretch – Ben (3/22/25)
- 15 Min Sleep Meditation – Kirra (10/17/24)
I chose a yoga flow and another Full Body Strength Class today. I am trying to incorporate more regular strength workouts into my routine.
Thursday
- 10 Min Morning Meditation – Aditi (7/22/24)
- 5 Min Warm Up Ride – Denis (2/14/22)
- 45 Min Pro Cyclist: HIIT Ride – Christian (6/2/24) — W4R2
- 10 Min Focus Flow: For Riders – Denis (2/25/25) — Personal Streak
- 15 Min Sleep Meditation – Chelsea (11/3/24)
I was a little scared of this 45-min HIIT ride with intervals in zone 5 and postponed it a couple of times but finally decided to get out of the way. It was a sweaty ride, but not as bad as I expected. Which is proof, once again, that you can build up things in your head.

Friday
- 10 Min Calming Meditation – Kristin (1/23/24)
- 30 Min 90s Tread Bootcamp – Jess S (8/24/21)
- 10 Min Savasana – Nico (10/29/24) — Personal Streak
I did my first (!) Tread Bootcamp today with three of the other four #BCBabes1. I should have gone over to the gym for this, but it was a beautiful morning and I decided to do the run intervals outside. It worked but since the intervals were very short (7 minutes), I had to time it right to make it back home for the strength portions of the bootcamp.
Saturday
- 10 Min Morning Meditation – Aditi (4/15/25)
- 100 Min Just Walk: Outdoors
- 15 Min Gospel Restorative – Chelsea (4/2/23) — Personal Streak
- 15 Min Sleep Meditation – Kristin (2/19/20)
I had planned to go for run today but ended up “running” errands in the morning and then went to a protest march in the afternoon, which I counted as my walking workout. I also did a restorative yoga class when I came home.
Sunday
- 5 Min Warm Up Ride – Matt (8/19/24) — Collect the Musical Eggs
- 60 Min Power Zone Endurance Ride – Denis (3/11/25) — W5R3
- 5 Min Cool Down Ride – Denis (11/14/24)
- 10 Min Arms & Light Weights – Denis (3/5/25)
- 20 Min Restorative Yoga – Kirra (11/28/23) — Personal Streak
- 10 Min Peace Meditation – Chelsea (5/15/23) — Serenity Sunday/Personal Streak
- 20 Min Sleep Meditation – Kristin (1/12/20) — Serenity Sunday
I finished up week 5 of the Power Zone Challenge with a 60-minute Power Zone Endurance Ride today. I also did another Arms & Light Weights class and participated in Serenity Sunday.

April 21, 2025 at 3:17 amAnother good week for you! You always have such a great mix of workouts. For me, when life is uncertain and challenging, coming back to routine and workouts always helps. I hope it does the same for you. And good for you for going to the protest and making your voice heard.

April 21, 2025 at 5:04 amSounds like a great week! I’ll bet going to the protest was even more satisfying to your soul than a run would have been. Besides, you did run! You ran outside for the tread bootcamp, which is running! Overall your week had a nice balance of cardio, strength, yoga and meditation. Can’t really ask for more than that!

April 21, 2025 at 6:47 amOh dang, you’re right Jenny! I did run! Not very much but better than nothing! Thanks for pointing that out :)

April 21, 2025 at 7:27 amNo running? But you’re still crushing all those challenges and streaks! I love it!
I haven’t made it out to a protest, but they are gaining steam and it makes my heart happy. To see hundreds and thousands of people gathering where I live is shocking and brings me so much hope.

April 21, 2025 at 10:47 amI am not running as much either right now but so many other activities are great for our fitness. Keep it up! Always love your variety of classes

April 21, 2025 at 1:35 pmYou had a great week of workouts! HIIT workouts of any kind are always intimidating to me and I don’t necessarily ENJOY them when I am doing them but I feel great afterwards. I was able to do run/walks Fri-Sun which felt good. I am working on regaining some endurance after being sidelined with hand surgery this winter. And then I got a cold last week that made everything feel harder. But it was great to get out and sweat!

April 21, 2025 at 2:37 pmLooks like your restorative yoga was well timed – after attending a protest, right? Even without running, it looks like you worked out a ton.
