2026 | Weekly Run Down 10/52 –  Pelobesties #together

You might have seen me use the hashtag #separatebuttogether whenever I post about (virtually) working out with friends across the globe. Well, this week, my friend and #pelobestie Tanja is here and we actually get to work out #together in person! What a treat.

Monday

  • 30 Min New Tracks Walk – Emma (2/20/26)

Today was an active rest day. I slept through my alarm (again!) and I am taking this as a sign that my body is trying to tell me to rest today. Chelsea’s Morning Yoga Flow was just what I needed though and I also got to take Emma’s newest New Track Walk with my friend Sherry. 

Tuesday

  • 10 Min Restorative – Anna (9/23/25) — The Streak 

I was up bright and early today to complete yesterday’s half marathon pace intervals run. No harm in moving the workout days around a little bit. I felt good today. 

Wednesday

I woke up to a text message from my friend Tanja (saying that she was on the way to the airport – hooray!) and then I started my morning appropriately with a Happiness Meditation. I also went on the tread for an endurance run and some strides, and finished with one of Kristin’s fantastic focus flows for runners.  

Thursday

I took today off, so I could spend time with Tanja. We went for a walk around our neighborhood in the morning and later in the afternoon we went to our neighborhood gym where we were able to workout on the treadmill next to each other (see picture above!). It’s so wonderful to be able to work out together in person for a change and not just virtually through the Peloton app!

Friday

Tanja and I were out and about all day, so we considered it an active rest day.

Saturday

Tanja and I went to the Bay Area today and met up with my friend Susi and her husband. We also briefly went to the coast to enjoy the view of the Pacific Ocean. We originally had planned to do a little hike while we were there, but that didn’t work out timewise. Instead, we jumped into the pool for a little bit when we got back and I did a yoga flow (while Tanja tried out my Peloton) and we went for a short walk around the neighborhood after dinner.

Sunday

  • 19 Min Outdoor Walking

Tanja and I walked to the local park today and we ran together for a little bit and then Tanja walked and I completed my 8-mile long run. It was a beautiful and warm, sunny day.

Current Challenges + Trackers:

I picked three trackers for March and I hope I’ll be able to complete them. March is busy with my friend visiting and my traveling to Germany later this month. We’ll see what I can do. I’ll try to continue my daily yoga streak, sprinkle in some self-care classes/activities and complete the “Shenani-gains” tracker (with classes to honor Women’s History Month and St. Patrick Day).
