I finished up the “Zones – The One with the PZP” Power Zone Challenge this week. I also tried the new AI FTP (functional threshold power) feature in the PZPack App, which facilitates the challenges. Instead of riding the 20-minute FTP test at the end of the challenge, the AI FTP analyzes the most recent riding data (~6 weeks) to derive mathematical and scientific insights to predict if your fitness has improved. I had an increase in my FTP value by 5 points. I think that is pretty accurate. I “only” did the “time crunch” option, which means shorter PZ rides to complement my half-marathon training, so I didn’t expect HUGE gains, but a little bit of an increase is always encouraging and motivating!
Tanja and I also finished the week with the big milestone: we celebrated our 1900th ride on the platform today!
Monday
- 5 Min Calming Meditation – Anna (10/1/24)
- 10 Min Focus Flow: Core – Kristin (2/28/24) — Focus Tracker/The Streak
- 5 Min Warm Up Walk – Kirsten (3/3/25)
- Team Wilpers Half Marathon Training W8R1 | Endurance Run + Strides
- 15 Min 80s Run – Alex T (11/4/25)
- 45 Min 90s Run – Hannah F (1/9/26)
- 5 Min Cool Down Walk – Mayla (1/27/26)
- 5 Min Post-Run Stretch – Jon (12/10/25)
- 20 Min Pop Walk – Jon (2/7/26)
I started my morning with meditation and a focus flow for core with Kristin McGee (which I recommend!). I then went over to our gym and got on the tread for a 60 minute endurance run with (Iove me some) strides.

Tuesday
- 5 Min Warm Up Ride – Sam (1/19/26)
- 30 Min Power Zone Endurance Ride – Matt (1/7/21) — PZW8R1
- 5 Min Post-Ride Stretch – Matt (3/4/25)
- 10 Min Focus Flow: For Riders – Ross (4/24/24) — The Streak
My Peloton friend Jaime joined me this morning for a Power Zone Endurance ride and I “tested” my new zones. The only went up by +3 watts, so it’s wasn’t too much of an adjustment, but I feel like I am right where I should be.

Wednesday
- 5 Min Morning Meditation – Anna (11/10/24)
- 5 Min Get to Know Me Warm Up Walk – Joslyn (2/9/25)
- Team Wilpers Half Marathon Training W8R2 | HM Intervals
- 45 Min Intervals Run – Joslyn (12/24/25)
- 30 Min Janet Jackson Tread Bootcamp – Joslyn (9/28/23)
- 5 Min Cool Down Walk – Joslyn (6/23/25)
I decided to make today a Joslyn-day. I really like her as a instructor but sometimes “forget“ to take her classes. I met up with my friend #BCBabe Kristin for a 30 minute Janet Jackson Tread Bootcamp with Joslyn and decided to also warm up, do my half marathon pace intervals training run, and my cool down with Joslyn beforehand. The Bootcamp class was so fun and flew by so fast. I didn’t have any time left for yoga and promptly broke my streak today. Bummer.

Thursday
- 10 Min Meditation – Anna (2/8/26)
- 5 Min Warm Up Walk – Susie (2/16/26
- Team Wilpers Half Marathon Training W8R3 | Endurance Run
- 45 Min 80s Run – Susie (9/9/25) — PZ-W8AR
- 5 Min Cool Down Walk – Mariana (2/28/25)
- 10 Min Focus Flow: For Runners – Kristin (6/7/23) — The Streak
- 30 Min Pop Walk – Jess K (2/22/26)
I didn’t feel like running this morning, but got it done anyway. Discipline > motivation. Susie’s playlist helped because her 80s (and 90s) run playlists are always the bomb! I appreciate hearing all the (late) 80s bands that were popular in Europe, but not necessarily made it big in the US (like Bros, Pet Shop Boys, and East 17).

Friday
- 10 Min Morning Meditation – Chelsea (2/26/26)
- 5 Min Core Strength – Emma (5/12/23)
- 5 Min Warm Up Ride – Emma (2/16/21)
- 5 Min Warm Up Ride – Hannah F (5/13/20)
- 5 Min Warm Up Ride – Erik (2/5/21)
- 30 Min Power Zone Endurance 2000s Rock Ride – Sam (9/21/25) — PZ-W8R2
- 5 Min Cool Down Ride – Denis (10/1/24)
- 5 Min Cool Down Ride – Matt (1/18/26)
- 10 Min Focus Flow: For Hamstrings – Kristin (1/12/21) — The Streak
Don’t be alarmed by the sheer number of warm up and cool down rides. I was trying to coordinate a milestone ride (#1900) this weekend with my friend Tanja, and my ride count wasn’t quite where it was supposed to be (because I didn’t pay early enough attention). Now I am all caught up. I also really needed that focus flow for hamstrings. My hammies are tight right now.

Saturday
- 5 Min Pre-Run Warm Up – Matt (5/14/25)
- Team Wilpers Half Marathon Training W8R4 | Long Run (12 mi)
- 60 Min 90s Run – Susie (10/18/25)
- 30 Min 80s Run – Jon (2/2/26)
- 30 Min 80s Run – Joslyn (2/21/26)
- 10 Min Focus Flow: For Hamstrings – Kristin (1/12/21) — The Streak
I had a busy day today, but I had to get my long run in. It was warm, and I got my running shorts out, yay!

Sunday
- 5 Min Warm Up Ride – Bradley (12/16/24)
- 5 Min Warm Up Ride – Denis (8/18/25)
- 45 Min Power Zone Endurance Ride – Denis (10/21/25) — PZ-W8R3/ 1900th RIDE
- 20 Min Restorative – Ross (10/20/21) — The Streak
- 10 Min Relaxing Meditation – Aditi (2/24/22)
Today was the last Power Zone Endurance Ride for the (Friends-themed) “Zones – The One with the PZP” Power Zone Challenge. It’s been a fun 8 weeks, and it’s been great to be back at Power Zone training. After my long run yesterday, I took Denis’ advice and opted for a solid Zone 2 ride to close out the challenge.
It was also Tanja’s (#willspin4it) and my 1900th Ride on the “bike that goes nowhere”. I love hitting these milestones together, and I was so happy that my sister #nidigreto was there to celebrate with us!
