Cool Bloggers Walking Club April 2025 Edition – Week 3

It was week 3 of Elisabeth’s Cool Bloggers Walking Club in April, and I increased my step count. Yay! I had a few intentional walks this week, and I got the most steps when I went to a protest walk on Saturday. It was a beautiful day and it was great to be out and about.

I completely forgot to send a photo to Elisabeth for this week, but you can check out all the other pictures shared by other participants this week on Elisabeth’s Cool Bloggers Walking Club Week 3 round-up.

Here’s the breakdown:

Tuesday, April 15

3,927 steps – 1.83 mi

Wednesday, April 16

5,537 steps – 2.65 mi

It was a beautiful sunny day and I took advantage and went for a walk along the river during my lunch break.

Thursday, April 17

5,388 steps – 2.54 mi

I went for another quick lunch time walk after a morning of meetings.

Friday, April 18

6,276 steps – 3.31 mi

This was my second-highest step count this week but it was mostly from being out running errands. I guess you could call this intentional… because I had the intention of getting my weekly shopping done. Haha.

Saturday, April 19

13,348 steps – 5.93 mi

I attended a 50501 protest in the afternoon. It was great to see so many people come out and peacefully protest. I don’t know exact numbers, but there were hundreds of people!

Sunday, April 20

3,710 steps – 1.82 mi

Monday, April 21

2,531 steps – 1.16 mi

Total steps count for week 3: 40,717 steps – 19.24 mi

How’s the weather been where you are? Does it feel like spring (or even early summer)? It’s been so sunny and warm here all week!

Keep moving, friends! There’s power in community!

  1. That’s an excellent step count for the week. It seems like Elisabeth’s challenge has us all trying to do a little bit more, each week. Of course, better weather has helped this last week for me.

  2. It’s sunny here today too, though I walked earlier in the morning when it was overcast and threatening rain (never materialized).
My step count hasn’t been very high this month, but that’s okay. I am glad I’ve made it outside and even a few minutes does make me feel better and clears my head.

  3. Impressive! I hope that the midday walks at work have been restorative and that they give you a bit of respite in your days. In summer, I can usually get a longer walk in midday and I do love that – particularly since it’s warm (and I am ALWAYS cold :>). I am not an official participant but I walk every day, too. Love seeing the pictures from everyone’s walks.

  4. That’s awesome, San! You’re rockin’ the walkin’! Our mornings are chilly, and we even had frost this morning. But the afternoons have been gorgeous and the grass is getting greener!

  5. Yeah for the Walking Club. Good work on your steps. That’s a great weekly step count. I decided I will do a round up post at the end of the month since I really hadn’t a good start and kinda just half heartedly followed along but I did and I want to give myself credit for the efforts I took.

Today the weather is spring like. Blue skies, sunshine and when being in the sun it is warm – like you want to wear a t-shirt but as soon as you are in the shade it is chilly.

  6. Nice work on getting your steps in! That walk along the river during your lunch break looks gorgeous! It’s nice that you have easy access to the river from where you work! Running or walking by a river is my favorite!

  7. The weather has been mercurial. You never know what you’re going to get when you stop outside in the spring!
Yay for going on those walks!
