Jon and I were heading out of town again this week (for his mom’s memorial service in SoCal), so I had to rearrange my schedule a little bit and get the two rides for the Power Zone Challenge out of the way early (because I only had access to my Peloton until Wednesday morning). I pushed my running workouts to later in the week, which was fine because I was looking forward to running by the ocean. However, I slacked on my strength training this week. I’ll have to pick this up again next week.

I had another V02 Max Interval Run on my training schedule today. It was a beautiful morning, I felt good and the intervals felt good and so I added another 15-minute run to my running workout. I finished with a yoga flow and again met up with Sherry for a lunchtime walk later in the day. Alex’s Soul Walk was really great – highly recommend it.

We drove down to SoCal today, but I had time in the morning before we left to meet up with Tanja to get another 30-minute Power Zone Ride out of the way. As you can tell from the graph, it was a great V02Max Interval Ride. Sweaty, but oh-so-fun!

I met up with my friend Sherry again this morning to celebrate her 200th yoga class and then we (virtually) walked together afterward. Jon’s 80s playlist was so fun! I used it as a warm-up and then completed another over/under interval run for the Team Wilpers Summer Run Challenge.

Today I had a little time to go and run near the ocean! It doesn’t get better than that. I finished up Week 7 of the Team Wilpers Summer Run Challenge with a long run with halfmarathon pace intervals and added another 30-minute run, just because I could. You gotta take advantage when you’re at the beach!
