This week’s stats:

Running: 37.9 mi
Cycling: 18.7 mi

Yoga/Pilates/Barre: 80 min
Warm up/Stretching: 40 min
Meditation: 25 min

I am linking up again for the Weekly Run Down with Kim and Deborah.

I am keeping on track with my marathon training schedule. I know there is no harm in missing or modifying a workout here and there. Life happens and it’s not a big deal in the grand scheme of things and that is a very reassuring thought, but so far, I’ve been able to execute my training plan as written: five running days and one cross-training and one rest day. Over the weekend, I ran my longest run yet and tackled 16 miles.

Monday

  • 15 Min Kindness Meditation – Ross (10/28/23)
  • 15 Min Focus Flow: For Runners – Kristin (4/17/24) — Personal Streak
  • 15 Min Full Body Mobility – Adrian (5/21/24)

I love my low-key rest days and really enjoyed the focus flow with Kristin and Adrian’s mobility class.

Tuesday

  • 30 Min Strength for Runners – Andy (7/29/22) — Road to 26.2
  • 58 Min Easy Run + Strides
    • 10 Min Pre-Run Warm Up – Becs (5/21/19) — Road to 26.2
    • 45 Min Marathon Race Prep Run – Robin (6/5/19) — Road to 26.2
    • 5 Min Cool Down Run – Matt (5/23/24)
  • 5 Min Post-Run Stretch – Olivia (9/24/24)
  • 30 Min Coldplay Ride – Ben (9/26/24) — All For One
  • 10 Min Focus Flow: For Runners – Mariana (9/22/24) — Personal Streak

I started my morning with strength for runners and Tanja unexpectedly joined me on short notice. That was a nice surprise (because she was supposed to still be on vacation but returned home a little earlier than planned). I had some easy miles + strides on my training plan and then later, I met up with my sister for an AFO Coldplay Ride (for which Tanja joined again as well).

Wednesday

  • 5 Min Pre-Run Warm Up – Rebecca (7/17/24)
  • 50 Min 4×3 min anaerobic capacity intervals
    • 45 Min HIIT Run – Becs (7/20/24)
    • 5 Min Cool Down Run – Matt (5/23/24)
  • 10 Min Lower Body Flow – Chelsea (7/30/24)  — Candy Hunt/Personal Streak

Intervals for breakfast, hooray!

Thursday

  • Flash 15 – Jess S (4/8/22) — Candy Hunt
  • 30 Min Strength for Runners – Rebecca (7/29/22) — Road to 26.2
  • 30 Min Bootcamp: 50/50 – Tunde (9/3/24)
  • 10 Min Focus Flow: Floor Poses – Aditi (9/17/24) — Personal Streak
  • 10 Min Just Walk: Outdoor

I got my butt up early and joined Lindsay and Sherry at 6 a.m. for a Flash 15 with Jess. Then I met up with Tanja for a Strength for Runners class and we both rejoined Sherry for a Bootcamp with Tunde. I finished up with a focus flow and then had to hurry up and get ready for work. It was my office day and I actually had to get dressed to leave the house.

Friday

  • 5 Min Pre-Run Warm Up – Rebecca (7/17/24)
  • 45 Min Easy Run
    • 45 Min Pop Run – Susie (8/17/24)
  • 45 Min Bootcamp – Jess (9/5/24
  • 10 Min Core Strength – Katie (9/19/24) — Candy Hunt
  • 5 Min Savasana – Denis (10/25/23) — Personal Streak/Ghouls Just Wanna Have Self Love

I got up early hoping I could leave the house by 6:45 a.m. for my 45-minute easy run to be back in time to join Lindsay’s milestone bootcamp at 7:30 a.m. That didn’t quite happen because the sunrise wasn’t until 7:05 a.m. and it was still so dark outside that I waited a little bit before heading out. I was only 15 minutes late for the bootcamp. Oh well. I finished with a core strength class with Katie – my first class with her and I loved it.

Saturday

  • 5 Min Pre-Run Warm Up – Rebecca (7/17/24)
  • 55 Min Easy Run

Current Challenges + Trackers:

This month’s trackers are Halloween-themed, of course! I purposely only chose a few because I have a very busy month ahead of me, but these are too much fun to pass up!
