I had a solid week of training. I completed both week 6 of the half marathon training plan and week 6 of the Power Zone Challenge (which I am using for some cross- training). There were some challenging workouts on deck, but it felt good to check them off. And I ran my first double-digit run since September.
I also finally watched more of the Olympics this week. These athletes are all incredible. I also keep wondering, how does one get into some of these sports (like speed skating, or curling)?
Monday
- 5 Min Warm Up Walk – Susie (4/28/25)
- Team Wilpers Half Marathon Training W6R1 | Endurance Run
- 60 Min 80s Run – Alex K (5/3/25) — My Favs
- 5 Min Cool Down Walk – JJ (9/30/24)
- 5 Min Lower Body Stretch – Ally (8/19/25) — For the Love of Selfcare
- 30 Min 90s Walk – Jon (1/2/26)
- 10 Min Savasana – Kristin (10/26/22) — The Streak
I almost overslept this morning and was about to skip my run, but then I decided to just „do it“. I had an easy pace, endurance run on my training plan, and there was no excuse not to do it. I did not have time for yoga and postponed it until bedtime, but I did get a 30-minute lunch walk in.

Tuesday
- 10 Min Kindness Meditation – Denis (9/23/25) —For the Love of Selfcare
- 5 Min Warm Up Ride – Denis (2/9/26)
- 30 Min Power Zone Ride – Matt (10/24/25) — PZ-W6R1
- 5 Min Post-Ride Stretch – Matt (3/4/25)
- 20 Min Strength for Runners – Matt (7/8/21)
- 10 Min Savasana – Kristin (10/26/22) — The Streak
I started my morning with meditation and then hopped on a 30-minute Power Zone Ride; 5 x 2 min intervals in zone 5. Hui, I was not sure I was ready to do that but discipline won over motivation. (It does every single time.)

Wednesday
- 10 Min Daily Meditation – Anna (2/8/26)
- 5 Min Warm Up Walk – Jess S (7/17/24)
- Team Wilpers Half Marathon Training W6R2 | Half Maraton Pace Hill Run
- 45 Min Intervals Run – Jon (5/30/25) — My Favs
- 5 Min Cool Down Walk – Marcel D (1/6/25)
- 5 Min Post-Run Stretch – Andy (8/6/25)
- 10 Min Savasana – Kristin (10/26/22) — The Streak
The training plan called for a half marathon pace hill run this morning, and I felt like doing a Power Zone class on the treadmill. The intervals were at 4% incline and at the end, 3 minutes felt very long!

Thursday
- 5 Min Warm Up Walk – Jess K (6/22/23)
- Team Wilpers Half Marathon Training W6R3 | Endurance Run
- 30 Min 90s Run – Marcel M (2/7/26) — My Favs
- 15 Min 90s Pop Run – Jon (10/28/25)
- 5 Min Cool Down Walk – Jess K (1/4/24)
- 5 Min Post-Run Stretch – Jess K (1/1/25)
I hopped on the treadmill for a 45-minute endurance run this morning. Not sure what my Garmin was up to, that weird spike at the beginning wasn’t me.

- Extra 10: Walk – Andy (11/30/25)
- 30 Min Pop Walk – Jon (10/12/25)
Instead of walking virtually with a couple of the #BCBabes, I got to walk with two of my coworkers today during lunchtime. It was a beautiful, sunny day.
Friday
- 10 Min Morning Meditation – Anna (12/18/25)
- 5 Min Warm Up Ride – Sam (11/10/25)
- 30 Min Power Zone Endurance Ride – Denis (11/14/25) — PZ-W6R2
- 5 Min Post-Ride Stretch – Emma (9/25/25) — For the Love of Selfcare
- 10 Min Standing Core Strength – Erik (2/1/26) — Focus Tracker
- 20 Min Arms & Shoulders Strength – Jess S (12/10/21) — My Favs
- 5 Min Upper Body Stretch – Adrian (5/13/25)
- 10 Min Focus Flow: Healthy Back – Chelsea (2/1/6) — The Streak
I met up with Tanja in the morning for a Power Zone Endurance ride and I was happy to just stay in Zones 2 + 3 today. We added a (standing) core class and some arms & shoulders work afterwards. I also really enjoyed the stretch and focus flow for a healthy back to close out the workout.

Saturday
- 10 Min Morning Meditation – Kristin (9/19/21)
- 5 Min Pre-Run Warm Up – Matt (5/14/25)
- Team Wilpers Half Marathon Training W6R4 | Long Run (10 mi)
- 30 At the Club: Valentine’s Day – Jon (2/13/26)
- 45 Min Rock Run – Becs (66/14/24) — My Favs
- 20 Min Pop Run – Jon (1/20/23)
- 45 Min Mindful Walk – Mariana (8/12/25)
- 10 Min Savasana – Kristin (10/26/22) — The Streak
I ran errands in the morning and didn’t set out for my long run until the afternoon. Not sure if that was subconscious procrastination because I had 10 miles on the training plan, but as usual, once you get going, it doesn’t feel so bad and overwhelming. I was quite pleased with this run. I didn’t plan my route well, though, and ended up having to walk back home quite a ways.

Sunday
- 10 Min Valentine’s Day Meditation – Kristin (2/14/23)
- 5 Min Warm Up Ride – Ben (10/20/25)
- 45 Min Pro Cyclist: Race Simulation – Christian (8/5/25) — PZ-W6R3
- 5 Min Post-Ride Stretch – Bradley (2/5/26)
- 10 Min Valentine’s Day Core Strength – JJ (2/13/26)
- 20 Min Bodyweight Strength – Erik (2/13/26)
Holy mo, the Race Simulation Ride for the Power Zone Challenge was spicy. I often look up the class structure beforehand (so I know what is coming), but I wonder if sometimes it would be good to just jump on the bike and NOT know what’s coming – if you know what I am saying. This was tough, but also really rewarding to have finished this.

- 20 Min Restorative Yoga – Aditi (4/14/22) — The Streak
- 10 Min Daily Meditation – Denis (8/17/25)
I participated in Serenity Sunday with the Streakers again in the afternoon – as always.
