This week was PeloFondo Weekend! In case you forgot what PeloFondo is, it’s a live virtual event for both indoor and outdoor cyclists, focused on long-distance mileage. You pledge to ride a set number of miles over the weekend, either by yourself or with a team. Of course, I signed up with my Streakers365 team again for this event. I “only” pledged 50 miles because of all the other things I am pursuing right now. Ahem. (It was also week 3 of half marathon training (4 runs) and week 3 of “The One with the PZP” Power Zone Challenge (3 rides)).

You probably think I am going a little overboard, and maybe I am, but for the first time in a long time, I feel like I am locked into my training and making strides. This feels so much better than just “floating” (which I did a lot last year).
Monday
- 5 Min Pre-Run Warm Up – Jon (10/8/25)
- Team Wilpers Half Marathon Training W3R1 | Endurance Run + Strides
- 30 Min Billie Eilish Run – Becs (1/25/20) — Artist Series Mania
- 30 Min Pop Run – Jon (1/16/26)
- 20 Min Michael Bublé Full Body Stretch – Adrian (12/10/25) — Wellness Wisdom
- 20 Min Restorative – Nico (4/2/24)
I had the day off (MLK Jr Day) and took advantage and let myself sleep in. In the late morning, I set out for my endurance run with strides. I picked Adrian‘s Michael Bublé Stretch for the Wellness Wisdom tracker, and it was great as a post-run stretch!

Tuesday
- 10 Min RIOPY Meditation – Aditi (1/28/21) — Artist Series Mania
- 5 Min Warm Up Ride – Tunde (11/17/25)
- 30 Min Power Zone 90s Ride – Erik (6/10/25) — PZ-W3R1
- 5 Min Cool Down Ride – Erik (6/25/25)
- 10 Min Focus Flow: For Riders – Denis (8/26/25) — Personal Streak
- 20 Min Lower Body: Week 3, Day 1 – Adrian (10/3/22) — PUTV1
My Streakers friend Jaime (#theREALnessie) joined me this morning for the Power Zone 90s Ride. It was great not to have to tackle the three 4-minute Zone 4 intervals by myself. I did one of my favorite yoga flows for riders (as a stretch) and then completed the lower body workout for week 3 of PUTV1. I am a fan of RDLs (Romanian Deadlifts) and SLRDLs (Single Leg Romanian Deadlifts), not so much of squat jumps, in case you care to know.

Wednesday
- 10 Min Gratitude Meditation – Denis (1/20/26)
- 10 Min Morning Yoga Flow – Chelsea (9/27/23) — Personal Streak
- 5 Min Warm Up Walk – Jon (4/5/23)
- Team Wilpers Half Marathon Training W3R2 | Progression Run
- 15 Min Classic Rock Run – Jon (1/6/26)
- 30 Min Live DJ Run: Armada Music – Jon (9/5/25) — Artist Series Mania
- 5 Min Cool Down Walk – Adrian (1/19/26)
- 5 Min Post-Run Stretch – Adrian (7/23/25)
Today I had a progression run on my training plan, and I love doing those on the tread because it’s easier to hit paces: set it and forget it.

Thursday
- 10 Min Peace Meditation – Anna (1/13/26)
- 20 Min Upper Body: Week 3, Day 2 – Adrian (10/3/22) — PUTV1
- 5 Min Upper Body Stretch – Adrian (7/9/24) — Wellness Wisdom
- 5 Min Warm Up Walk – JJ (5/24/23)
- Team Wilpers Half Marathon Training W3R3 | Endurance Run
- 45 Min 80s Run – Erik (12/10/24)
- 5 Min Cool Down Walk – JJ (9/30/24)
- 5 Min Post-Run Stretch – JJ (1/21/26)
- 10 Min Savasana – Anna (1/31/24) — Personal Streak
I started my day with meditation and then did 20 minutes of upper body strength for week 3 of PUTV1. I used my new 15 lbs weights today, and I can feel a difference. It was time to step it up a little bit. I had been “cheating” with my lower weights for too long.
I also went on the tread for a 45-minute endurance run. Nothing exciting, just steady work.

Friday
- 20 Min Evening Yoga Flow – Anna (3/4/25) — Personal Streak
- 15 Min Sleep Meditation – Denis (12/13/25)
Today turned out to be a rest day. I had plans to do a Power Zone ride, but I pushed that to Saturday to make the miles count for PeloFondo.
Saturday
- 5 Min Warm Up Ride – Hannah F (8/4/25) — PeloFondo
- 30 Min Power Zone Ride – Hannah F (12/20/25) — PZ-W3R2/PeloFondo
- 30 Min Low Impact Ride – Denis (1/15/26)– PeloFondo
- 20 Min 90s Ride – Bradley (1/23/26) — PeloFondo
I got on the bike in the late morning to complete my Power Zone Ride and start collecting miles for Pelofondo. I had pledged 50 miles for the weekend and planned to get half of those on Saturday, Day 1. After the Powe Zone Ride, I kept it low key with a Low Impact and a 90s Ride.

- Team Wilpers Half Marathon Training W3R4 | Long Run
- 30 Min Spice Girls Run – Becs (7/15/21) — Artist Series Mania
- 30 Min 90s Run – Susie (11/28/25)
- 20 Min 90s Pop Run – Jon (1/20/26)
- 5 Min Cool Down Walk – JJ (9/30/24)
- 5 Min Post-Run Stretch – Jess S (11/12/25)
- 10 Min Restorative – Kristin (11/8/23) — Personal Streak
In the afternoon, I completed my long run for half marathon training. Yeah, yeah, it wasn’t ideal to cycle in the morning when I had 8 miles of running on the calendar as well, but I did take that rest day on Friday, so it’s all good. I felt pretty good throughout my run. I even started out a little too fast.

Sunday
- 20 Min Reconnect Ride – Denis (1/25/26) — PeloFondo
- 30 Min Eminem Ride – Denis (1/30/22) — Artist Series Mania/PeloFondo
- 45 Min Power Zone Endurance Ride – Denis (11/21/25) — PZ-W3R3/PeloFondo
- 20 Min Full Body Strength: Week 3, Day 3 – Adrian (10/3/22) — PUTV1
- 5 Min Cool Down Ride – Bradley (1/1/26) — PeloFondo
I met up with the #BCBabes1 and some other Streakers for the Peloton “Reconnect Ride” taught by Denis Morton at the Instructor Summit earlier this week, with most NYC-based instructors in the studio. That was so much fun, especially to see some of the non-bike instructors on the bike (like Adrian, Becs, and the yoga team). That ride was at 7 am PST (on a Sunday!), so I had to get up extra early, but the things we do for Peloton community fun, amirite?
Sherry and I tackled the Eminem Ride afterwards for more PeloFondo miles and then she also joined Tanja (#willspin4it), my sister (#nidigreto), and me for a 45-minute Power Zone Endurance Ride. I finished with a 20-minute full-body strength workout for week 3 of PUTV1. Yeah, I might have had to get up early, but was also done with my workouts at 9 am – that was a win.

- 20 Min Restorative – Chelsea (1/13/21) — Personal Streak/ Serenity Sunday
- 10 Min Body Scan Meditation – Kristin (8/29/22) — Serenity Sunday

January 26, 2026 at 5:10 amGreat job with your workouts! I was trying to do the 100 day challenge but I already missed a couple of days – kudos to you streakers!
I’ve never done a power zone ride but they sound really interesting – I don’t own a bike but use the one in the gym office. I’ll have to give it a try sometime!

January 30, 2026 at 12:00 pmThanks for stopping by Janelle. You should give PZ training a try – it is really fun and I love the training results.

January 26, 2026 at 5:27 amIf you feel good, then your training is going well. You’ll know if you start to overdo it- you’re good about pulling back when you need to. Sounds like you had a fun and intense week! I always like a challenge, and the Pelofundo seems like a fun one.

January 30, 2026 at 12:00 pmI agree, Jenny, I think we know our bodies by now and know when to pull back!

January 26, 2026 at 10:28 amAmbitious doing the Pelofondo and a long run! Nice job fitting that in. I also took that Dennis ride and loved it. So fun to see so many instructors pedaling away!

January 30, 2026 at 12:01 pmThat was such a fun class. I heard that they’re doing something similar with the UK instructors :)

January 26, 2026 at 1:09 pmNice job with the PeloFondo miles! Yet again, I was totally outbid the loop, ugh! I know they happen every three months, but I never remember until it’s too late, LOL. As for doing a long ride then running later… many years ago, I did the15-mile hilly bike path (in my previous town, and had a 15K to run later that evening. The ride seemed to have loosened-up my legs, because the race went well that evening (in the hot & humid July weather). Sometimes things just work in your favor!

January 30, 2026 at 12:01 pmDang it, I keep saying I’ll remind you about the next PeloFondo. Put it on your calendar – the next one will be in April sometime.

January 29, 2026 at 2:42 amThis is a solid week, San! Well done on the half marathon training! Four quality runs, a well-handled long run, and smart use of the tread for progression work.
You balanced it well with a rest day, plenty of stretches, yoga and meditation. That’s disciplined training!
San
January 30, 2026 at 12:02 pmThanks Catrina. The training feels good so far. How’s your marathon training going?

January 31, 2026 at 3:30 amKind of a bit mixed… I’ll do a blog post on it next week!

January 31, 2026 at 4:47 pmYou rock, San! Wow, what amazing workouts – and 15-pound weights! I’m going to have to check out the class with all the instructors – that sounds really fun!
