2023 Weekly Run Down 36/52 – All For One

We finished up the Barkle 4×4 Challenge this week – a 4-week challenge to hold us over from the last Power Zone Challenge to the next. The Power Zone Pack “Power Zone University: Class of 2023” Challenge officially kicks off tomorrow (Monday!). I’ll be joining my Streakers365 team again and our official team name is “Streaking101”. Fitting :) 

This week was also Peloton’s All For One (AFO) Music Festival including another long lineup of artists. There were only a handful of artists this year that I was excited about, many I didn’t know (am I getting old?), but I still caught a few classes on demand this week. I was particularly excited about Dave Matthews Band, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Eagles, and Salt-n-Peppa.

I completed two more Barkle 4×4 rides this morning. Only one left for the week (and I decided to choose the run option for the last one). Then it was on to day 2 of week 2 of the Pump Up the Volume 5 program with my Streakers365 friends Lindsay, Sherry, and Kristin.

I started my day off with a 45 Min Endurance run (including the 20 Min Barkle 4×4 Run that I had left to do) and then got together with my Streakers365 friends for Cody’s Extra 10: HIIT ride (for the B2S Hustle) and a 20 Min Core class. I was expecting the worst – core classes can be intense and 20 min is LONG, but this was actually a fun class that was hard, but not too hard on the abs. I could definitely feel my arms/shoulders from Wednesday’s Upper Body class on those bear planks and mountain climbers.

I started off the day with week 2, day 2 of the Pump Up The Volume 5 program with my Streakers365 friends Lindsay and Kristin and then joined them for a 30-minute boot camp with Cody, which I totally counted for my Core Bingo tracker. The core section was intense. Then I chose two AFO classes for my 30-minute Team Wilpers endurance run and finished with a yoga flow with Ross.

Today was a long run day. I started with week 4, run 4 for the Team Wilpers Summer Send-Off, a 45-minute endurance run, and then added more miles to hit a total of 10 miles for my half marathon training. I chose one of the few 60+ runs with Susie and an AFO run with Becs. I love running with both of them. I added a couple more classes for strength and mobility afterward to complete more bingo squares.

Today was supposed to be an active rest day for me. I slept in (until 9:30 a.m.!) and then only had a small stack on deck to complete my Instructor Bingo card for this week. I also really loved Kristin’s Dave Matthews Band Yoga Flow for my personal yoga streak. I bookmarked it and highly recommend it!

  3. There were many (actually, most of them!) artists I did not recognize on the AFO classes. I try to keep an open mind, though, and give the unfamiliar ones a chance, but it’s kind of a crapshoot, LOL.

  4. I’m also old and the only band you mentioned that I know anything about is Eagles!
    A good week as always with tons of activity for you! Now you need to explain to someone who knows zero about Peloton, how does that bingo work?

  5. I actually chased your link to the Peloton AFO page (I don’t do Peloton, so I needed to check it out) and was surprised by the diversity of the artists! But I can’t imagine working out to many of them. I love Chris Stapleton, but as workout music? So interesting!

  9. I don’t know if I’m more impressed by the amount of exercise you do each week OR the fact that you keep meticulous records of it. Both are things that I’m not inclined to do, but enjoy knowing that other people do. Carry on, with good wishes from this human slug. 😉
