I am linking up with Kookyrunner and Zenaida for Tuesday Topics, and this week and I am excited that we’re sharing gift ideas for runners/athletes this week. You know, I love a good gift guide as much as the next person, and there are always “sports items” on my own wishlist.
Without further ado, some gift ideas for your athletic friends.
1. I know a lot of runners who log their miles/workouts, so a running journal* seems pretty useful.
2. These Wrightsock* socks are my favorite double-layered anti-blister running socks.
3. I gave Jon the Mini Theragun* for his birthday and he loves it (and me, too).
4. Peloton Wall Art*. Ok, sure, this is only a gift for someone who has drunk the Peloton Kool-Aid, but there’s a ton of other motivational wall art out there. This is just an example.
5. I didn’t know how many Sweat Towels* one can go through.
6. This Matt Math Muscle Tank* makes me laugh because that’s exactly how Peloton Coach Matt Wilpers coaches his classes. Haha.
7. One can never have enough Long Sleeved Running Shirts* with thumbholes!!
8. During this time of year, CRZ Yoga Thermal Fleece Lined Leggings* with pockets (!) seem to be a necessity.
9. I’ve had my Road ID* bracelet for a few years and won’t leave the house for a run without it.
10. I also had Arm Sleeves* for a while and just recently used them a little bit more regularly and really like the flexibility they offer regarding temperature control. I am cold when I start and I get hot once I am well on my way.
11. I still don’t own a medal holder*, can you believe it?
12. I don’t use protein powder very often, but this Blender Bottle* works really well to blend everything without lumps. Works for chocolate milk, too ;)
13. I imagine these to be a great recovery tool: Foot Alignment Socks*.
14. If you like to keep an eye on your heart rate, this Heart Rate Monitor Armband* might be a good fit.
15. The Nathan’s Stealth Jacket* is an ultra-lightweight performance windbreaker and definitely something any outdoor athlete could use!
16. This Molly’s Suds Sports Wash* is my favorite.
If you’re an athlete, what would you like to find under the Christmas tree?
* #notanad, This is not a sponsored post. I have not been compensated by the brand or anyone else for linking the websites, and all items were bought with my own money.

December 6, 2022 at 1:10 pmI am NOT an athlete, but I’m really hoping for a heated vest and some extra heated socks for winter walks, sledding with the kids and downhill skiing. The right kind of winter gear makes a big difference – especially for me, since I tend to run cold…ALWAYS!
You do such a lovely job on all your gift guides, San!

December 6, 2022 at 2:54 pmVery nice gift list! I have a medal hanger from Allied Medals and I really like it a lot. And I feel like I’m the only runner who doesn’t own a massage gun, lol

December 7, 2022 at 7:44 amAh, I see Suzanne (a fellow plantar fasciitis sufferer) and I are on the same page- i want the foot alignment socks! I love all these gift guides, but the problem is my Christmas list is growing and growing…I’m not sure Santa is going to bring me EVERYTHING I want.

December 7, 2022 at 2:53 pmI’m not usually interested in gift guides but this one is my cup of tea! There’s so much here that I want! Particularly the blender bottle, sweater, windbreaker, and arm sleeves! The arm sleeves are super clever.

December 8, 2022 at 10:50 pmThis is a great list for inspiration. I don’t have many runner athletes in my circle much more in my online circle. HA. But it could be useful. If I would have to choose one athletic gift…. it think it would be…apparently I can’t come up with anything… says a lot about me, right? how did it happen that I fell of the sports band wagon…

December 9, 2022 at 10:48 amThese are all great ideas! I am always happy to get socks! My mom usually gives my sister and me a pair in our stockings. You can’t have too many pairs of socks, generally!
A couple of years ago at a favorite things party, my friend gave us this belt for holding our phones. It is crazy cheap and works super well!

December 10, 2022 at 4:17 pmLots of great ideas here! I have similar towels but from another company which I love. I have the Original YogaToes but rarely use them. I wonder if those work just like the foot alignment socks? Those tights would be perfect for Winter running!

December 12, 2022 at 8:52 pmI love shirts with thumb holes, too. Soo many great items on your list! I actually don’t have any runners on my shopping list but a few people who are taking their workouts much more seriously and there are some great suggestions here. Thanks so much for this and hope you are enjoying the season 😊 great to be back today!
