This week’s stats:

Cycling: 21.1 mi
Yoga/Pilates/Barre: 95 min
Warm up/Stretching: 15 min
Meditation: 55 min
I am linking up again for the Weekly Run Down with Kim and Deborah.
I purposefully had a very low-key week. I was sore for 2-3 days after the marathon to the point where it was hard to walk up or down the stairs, sit down and get up, and find a comfortable position to sleep. I was told that this was to be expected and I wasn’t worried, but I haven’t really experienced this kind of fatigue before, but I was fine within a few days. I started moving more again towards the end of the week and finished with a huge Peloton milestone. Tanja and I celebrated our 1500th ride on the platform on Saturday! I also returned to running on Sunday.
Monday
- 15 Min Restorative Yoga – Denis (9/22/21) — Personal Streak
I didn’t do anything on Monday. My legs were sore, I had a hard time getting around and I decided to only do a little bit of restorative yoga.
Tuesday
- 10 Min Morning Meditation – Ross (6/24/23)
- 10 Min Savasana – Anna (1/31/24) — Personal Streak
I started my morning with a morning meditation and ended my day in Savasana. I had two office days back to back in front of me and was still pretty sore, so I kept things easy. Rest, rest, repeat.
Wednesday
- 10 Min Holiday Meditation – Nico (12/8/22)
- 10 Min Savasana – Ross (6/21/21) — Personal Streak
Again, meditation in the morning, a day in the office for my project meeting, and Savasana at night. But I noticed that my legs were slowly starting to feel better.
Thursday
- 15 Min Morning Meditation – Ross (5/31/22)
- 10 Min Savasana – Kristin (4/22/21) — Personal Streak
More of the same. Morning meditation and Savasana before bed.
Friday
- 10 Min Morning Meditation – Kristin (6/26/23)
- 30 Min Holiday Broadway Yoga Flow – Ross (12/11/20) — Personal Streak
- 30 Min Backstreet Boys Ride – Cody (12/12/24)
Today, I felt ready to do a bit more. I did another morning meditation and Ross’ Holiday Flow (for one of my trackers) and later joined the #BCBabes for Cody’s Backstreet Boys Ride. It was so fun, both riding with friends again and also singing along to all the BSB bangers.
Saturday
- 45 Min Classic Rock Ride – Denis (12/14/24) — 1500th RIDE!
- 10 Min Backstreet Boys Holiday Stretch – Ben (12/11/24) — 12 Months of Peloton
Tanja and I celebrated our 1500th ride on the bike that goes nowhere today. And then I promptly forgot to fit some yoga into my day.
Sunday
- 5 Min Playdate: Pre-Run Warm Up – Becs (10/4/24)
- 30 Min Jingle Jog – Adrian (11/30/24)
- 10 Min Holiday Post-Run Stretch – Jon (12/3/22) — Snowflake Self-Care
- 20 Min Restorative Yoga – Aditi (9/9/21) — Serenity Sunday/Personal Streak
- 10 Min Calming Meditation – Kristin (7/20/21) — Serenity Sunday
I purposefully took a whole week off from running. While I only walked funny for two days and definitely didn’t feel as sore anymore by Wednesday, I still took it easy the following days. But this morning, I was ready to test out my legs again. I chose Adrian’s Jingle Jog for a nice 3-mile run around the neighborhood and it felt good. I think I am ready to run again.
