I thought it was time again to share some of the items I recently picked up at Trader Joe’s.
They’ve started bringing in a ton of new seasonal items, many of which I am sure I’ll try out in the next few weeks, but I was particularly excited to see this old favorite back on the shelves!
Gingerbread Coffee* ( 14 oz – $7.99) ★★★★★ // pantry section
This time of year, I always buy this coffee at Trader Joe’s. It’s a must-have, because it smells and tastes delicious. Have you tried it?
Turkey Cranberry Apple Salad* (10.25 oz – $ 3.99) ★★★★★ \\ fresh food to-go section
I had seen this turkey salad last year and was bummed when I realized that it was a seasonal item they’d only have around the Thanksgiving holiday. So I was even more excited when I saw it pop at the store again a few weeks ago. I don’t often buy prepared salads like that, but it’s a great option for a quick lunch: by some baguette and lettuce and you’re good to go.
Greeting Cards* ($0.99) ★★★★★ // entrance area
Trader Joe’s really has the cutest cards. They have a rotating selection and most of their cards are really pretty and unique. And at $0.99 a pop, they’re really affordable. I usually pick up a couple of cards on my grocery runs.
Organic Brown Basmati Rice* (32 oz – $4.49 ) ★★★★★ \\ pantry section
We’ve been choosing brown rice over white rice for its nutritional value but it always required a bit more planning because brown rice has a longer cooking time. Well, until I found this quick cook brown rice from Trader Joe’s. It’s our new favorite!
Pizza 4 Formaggi* (13.4 oz – $3.99 ) ★★★★★ \\ freezer section
We don’t usually buy frozen pizza, but we were in a pinch a couple of weeks ago and thought it would be nice to have something to just throw in the oven and this cheese pizza from Italy fit the bill. We spruced it up with fresh tomatoes and arugula, and voila, dinner’s done. And you can’t really beat the price.
What did you pick up at Trader Joe’s this week?
* I am not affiliated with Trader Joe’s, nor have they endorsed, sponsored or paid for my reviews. I am just sharing my love for the store and its products, which basically means free advertisement for them. Ha. All opinions are my own.

November 25, 2018 at 9:36 amGreat stuff! I love TJ’s. Happy to hear there’s brown rice that doesn’t take long to cook. Like you, I prefer it for the greater nutrition.

November 26, 2018 at 12:04 pmI should check out the basmati rice at TJ’s. We eat so many rice based dishes as we tend to have a stirfry and/or curry dish every week! Basmati rice in our grocery store is kind of expensive but the TJ’s looks more economical.
Now that Paul is able to ride in the grocery cart we’ll have to maybe squeeze in a trip to TJ’s on one of my days off in December!
