Current Favorites Vol. 1

Who’s up for some current favorites? I know I am! I always enjoy it when other people post about their favorites things (share the love!) and I thought it was time to post a list of mine again.

1. I’ve tried many different “natural” deodorants, but this Native Natural Deodorant* is hands-down my most favorite so far. It has a smooth texture, doesn’t leave white residue, and just smells heavenly. Oh, and most importantly: it works!

2. I needed a pretty planter for my monstera and picked up this Weave Basket* (from Target) a few weeks ago and I just love it. It’s the perfect size, sturdy, but lightweight, and looks cute in our living room.

3. Jon and I have jumped on the Schitt’s Creek* bandwagon late (as so often), but we both love the show and are currently watching Season 5. I know what you’re going to say: better late than never.

4. Do you tend to go through phases when it comes to breakfast (like I do), or do you pretty much eat the same all year round? I am currently back in a Muesli phase (it’s from Trader Joe’s*) and love it with plain Greek yogurt and fruit (preferably apple or peach). Now that the warmer weather is here, I’ve switched from steel-cut oats over to muesli again. Let’s see for how long.

5. I mentioned the Pro Hair Ties* in another post a few weeks ago. I fell victim to Instagram advertising and had to try them. You can adjust the circumference (depending on hair thickness) and they have an “easy release clasp” so you are not ripping out hair when you pull them out. Since I go between hair down and ponytail a lot, these have become real life hair savers! LOL

6. I picked up this Pink Pomelo Grapefruit Hand Soap (from Trader Joe’s*) on a random shopping trip and I just love the smell. It also lathers well. What’s not to love?

7. I am probably going to live in this romper* this summer. So cute and comfortable. And did you see that it has pockets?

8. If you know me at all, you are aware that I have somewhat of a mug addiction. I just can’t pass up a pretty mug! This XO Stoneware Mug* from Target was a gift from a dear friend and it’s quickly become one of my favorite coffee mugs. It’s just the right size and feel in my hand (which is hard to “explain”, but it is important). Do you have a favorite mug? (Show me!)

What are you loving these days? Share some favorites with me!

  1. I LOVE the romper and you look so cute in it!!!

    1. Awww, thanks friend <3

  2. I was late to the Schitts Creek game too, but LOVEEEEEED it. Now I’m obsessed with all those Schitts Creek memes all over the Internet, hahhaah.

    1. The memes are so fun :)

  3. We have not watched Schitts Creek so are really in the minority. We watched the first episode and hated it! Everyone says to keep watching but we disliked it so much that we don’t feel like giving it more of a chance… But I know everyone who keeps going seems to love it!

I use Native, too, and really love it! I tried another brand last year – can’t remember the brand – and I did not like it nearly as much and then broke out from it after using it for 6 months or so. Hopefully that doesn’t happen with Native as I really like it!

  4. Haha I was late to the Schitt’s Creek bandwagon too, but then I devoured the whole series in spring! I like the *idea* of rompers, but like one piece swimsuits the thought of basically stripping every time I have t use the restroom makes me pause. They looks so cute and comfortable though!

  5. Okay that romper and those hair ties are going on my wish list! I think this makes you an influencer. :)

  6. That romper is so cool. It looks very comfy. I always wanted to sew myself one but never did. Not sure it would look good on me but now I need to look through my patterns again.
I think we ordered the native deodorant a while back but when we realized it was shipped from the US we kinda stopped… does not make sense and is so unsustainable but I liked it too.

  7. Are rompers the updated version of the late-80s overalls / shortalls trend? I’ve always wondered… That said, they look cute but I’m with whoever said they’re too much like wearing a swimsuit! :)
Thanks for the deodorant and muesli recs. I need to use up the 2 natural deodorants I tried first (I can’t get rid of them, they’re not THAT bad, they’re just not great…) and then might try this one. And re: the muesli. I make my own granola, which I love, but now I’m thinking I should expand my repertoire to include a homemade muesli… Not a fan of raisins or coconut, so the TJ’s version is kind of out. :)

  8. Ooooh, definitely checking out these hair ties!
