Recipe: Pasta Alfredo with Sun-dried Tomato and Shrimp

Today I thought I would share a new recipe with you. I have to admit that this was not completely made from scratch (which I prefer 99.9% of the time), but I did add some more ingredients to make it a little bit more complicated and I was going to share it anyway, because it was so delicious! And on top of that,  it’s a real easy and quick dinner!

Pasta Alfredo with sun-dried tomatoes and shrimp

Ingredients:

– 12 oz. (340g) Thin Spaghetti (or any other pasta you like)
– 1 lb. of cooked shrimp
– 1 onion (diced)
– 1 jar of Classico Sun-dried Tomato Alfredo
– 1 clove of garlic (crushed)
– 1 Tbsp. of Olive Oil
– pepper, salt
– parsley

Fry the diced onions and crushed garlic in 1 Tbsp. of Olive Oil until lightly browned. Add the pre-cooked shrimp and parsley and heat thoroughly.
Heat up the Alfredo Sauce in a separate pot and let it simmer for a couple of minutes. Then add the shrimp and season to taste.

Serve over cooked pasta.

Voilá. Won’t take you more than 20 minutes. Enjoy!

  2. I prefer to make things from scratch as well but sometimes those premade sauces come in handy – especially when I don’t feel like cooking for hours.

I have made this before as well. Love it! :)
