SPF

This month is National Epilepsy Awareness month and Kristine has asked us to come up with some photos that represent the following:

1. Something you seize (as in seizure, get it?)

november 17, 2006 - day 55

I seize control over my own feelings today. I feel excited about moving to the US and living with my hubby :)

2. Something that shakes (because you shake when you have seizures)

My new home shakes. Pretty much multiple times a day. Most of the time people won’t feel it, but the seismographs record multiple earthquakes per day! I am geologist. I must be fascinated by this [and I am!].

3. And something purple (because purple is the color for National Epilepsy Awareness Month!)

Something purple

Ok, this is lame… it’s the only purple thing I could find. It’s a paper clip that I’ve had since I was 12 or so. I just love the bunny ears hoody :) SANRIO stuff is so cute… is it ok for a grown woman to like stuff like that? ;)

So, let me know… did you play? I want to come and check it out!
Happy Friday everyone!

  1. Great SPF! And welcome to the Bay Area (in 5 days)! All the shaking going on here just keeps things interesting! :)

  2. I love how your hair looks in that first shot. I am so jealous.

Welcome to the USA! I know you will love it.

I think that’s cute how you still have that paper clip.

    I played.

  4. Wow..I didn’t realize CA had that many earthquakes! Crazy the ground can shake and nobody can feel it.

Welcome to the USA!! It’s a big move! I can only imagine your excitement!

    I played – have a great weekend!

  5. Wow- only five days now- that is terrific! I can’t imagine how excited you must be. :-)

I used to live in Southern California. I’m not sure if I ever got used to the “shaking” that went on there.

Happy SPF and I played too.

  6. Love the first pic! You just have gorgeous eyes!!

I remember the earthquake graphs from a visit to SF and i was constantly waiting to “feel” one ;-) Silly girl huh?

    Happy SPF, I played

  7. oooh! i am so jealous! i visited California for the first time back in September & fell in love with it…

  8. Yeah, your seizing picture is great!!!

I can’t believe that CA shakes multiple times per day!! I had no idea.

I might play when I get home… don’t happen to have a camera here right now. Too bad for me.

  9. I like your picture, you look so happy.
    I played too.

I played as well, so come on by!

  14. Great interpretation!

Thanks for stopping by mine :)

  15. Kind of scary to think of earthquakes on a daily basis… Was there an increase due to the rumble in the ocean near Japan or is this normal?? Scary.. Good think you love these things ;-)

Totally appropriate for a grown up to love cute things! Ha! ;-)

    Smoochie! Have a fantastic weekend!
