Only three days to go…

it’s a beautiful Monday and I am in such a good mood today. I am wondering if it’s because the sun is shining, because my boss is out of the office this week or because we’re going to Boston in less than 72 hours! Maybe it’s because of all that combined :) I had a great rest of the weekend… Saturday night we watched the Kings vs. Phoenix Suns and they lost :( got me down for a little bit, but later I watched another Elvis Presley movie that I used to watch with my sister and that cheered me up again. It’s so funny to finally see these movies in English! I watched “Change of Habit” (which was “Ein himmlischer Schwindel” in German) and this time I am so disappointed with the translation, because it’s a pun in English (the movie deals with problems in a ghetto where Elvis plays a doctor in an inner-city free clinic, playing host to three Catholic nurses (who are really nuns incognito)) , but not in German :( That proves one more time how difficult it is to translate from one language to another.

Sunday morning, I had my little private audience over the phone. I talked to Kim first and then talked to Sanni who had tried to call in vain while I was on the phone with Kim. Girls, I am so sorry that Sunday morning seems to be the only good time to reach me at home ;)
I also chatted with Ilka for a little bit and then I took a shower and went stationery-shopping :) What a fun day!
I also bought a cute little purse and two shirts for Jon :)

In the evening we watched the last three episodes of SATC Season 3 Disk 3 and then I went to bed. It was a real nice and relaxing weekend and now I am looking forward to a week of “action” *lol*
