I am thankful for being healthy, for waking up without aches and pains, and for being able to run longer distances than I could have ever imagined.
I am thankful for my job, for great co-workers and feeling like I am doing something worthwhile.
I am thankful for being able to pay for all my bills, food and all necessities and still having a little left over.
I am thankful for our cozy new couch that I will spend many hours on knitting, reading and watching our favorite shows.
I am thankful for friends, near and far who I connect with and who get me.
I am thankful for the rare, but precious deep and honest conversations with my closest of friends. They don’t happen too often (because they mostly happen in face-to-face situations), but they mean the world to me every single time.
I am thankful for my only real local friend and sole sister Susi, who inspired me to set new goals and who is always there when you need her.
I am thankful for the neighborhood cat that has been coming by our house recently (and which I wish we could just adopt).
I am thankful for the opportunity to celebrate my birthday with my twin sister this year and to spend a whole week with my whole family in South Tyrol in the snow!
I am thankful for the precious time I was able to spend with my parents here in California this fall.
I am thankful for my family and the wonderful relationship we have. I know that there are many families out there that are broken or not as close and I never ever want to take what we have for granted.
I am thankful for J, our love and the home we made together.
I am thankful for YOU. Thank you for stopping by and sharing your thoughts, commenting on my posts and always chiming in with advice or simple ‘me too’s’. I appreciate having all of you in my life.
Happy Thanksgiving, friends. I hope you all have a relaxing holiday weekend.
