15: November Link Love

LinkLoveNovember

It’s time to round up my favorite reads and links from this last month. Enjoy!

Everything doesn’t happen for a reason. “Some things in life cannot be fixed. They can only be carried. ” THIS! If you click only on one of my links today, let it be this one!

Science says knitting makes humans warmer and happier, mentally. I agree with that :)

This is so interesting: 6 photographers capture same person but results vary widely because they were told different things about him.

Apple coffee cake? Yes please.

Raw and heart-warming. Letters from your late dad. When I am gone.

Lesley wrote about why more often than not, someone’s weight doesn’t have to be part of the conversation.

How to make great homemade pizza. Who’s hungry?

How friendships change in adulthood. Sigh. Wouldn’t it be fun to have your best friend live next door?

So interesting! Who would have thought? The most instagrammed location in every state

Microwave potato chips! I want to try this.

  1. Thanks so much for sharing my post on your blog!

And I really liked that post about someone’s weight not needing to be part of the conversation. Amen.

  2. I’ve done the microwave potato chip thing! I was amazed that it worked. They get sort of a dehydrated texture, sort of like baked or otherwise “healthier” chips, but the potato flavor is almost stronger than with regular chips. I definitely liked them but don’t know if it’s worth the effort since we don’t have a mandoline slicer.

  3. Really?? Virginia Beach for Virginia?? For DC the White House doesn’t surprise me at all!
