.) I received The Life List by Lori Nelson Spielman from a dear friend for my birthday and I just got around to reading it. I enjoyed it quite a bit… if you’re looking for some good story telling and development, I recommend this book.
.) I can’t remember who mentioned the YNAB (You Need A Budget) software (I think it was on Twitter), but I gave it a try in May and I am practically sold. I have to admit that I never really had a budget (I mean, I always knew what we spent and occasionally would sit down and really track it for a couple of months, but I never bothered to make an actual budget, mostly because we usually live within our means.) I think I’ll write a separate post about this software sometime. Stay tuned.
.) I am not a perfume person (never have been – it’s a waste of money, IMHO), but ever since I started using Primal Pit Paste (unscented) over a year ago, I have enjoyed the occasional use of Be Delectable Body Mist. Smells lovely.
.) We’ve had the Ikea DUDERÖ Lamp for many years, but this month I rescued it from a spot between a shelf and the wall where we never used it. Now that it’s out in the open again, I love the nice ambience it created in our living room in the evenings.
.) I’ve been buying this Rye Bread from a local German bakery at the Co-op and it’s delicious. Don’t let the packaging fool you though – this is actually NOT what we would consider Pumpernickel in Germany, but just a 100% whole grain rye bread. It’s still delicious and I just love the short ingredient list (rye, salt, water)!
.) A friend recommended the Pocket App when I was searching for a better way to bookmark and organize links. It’s been a life saver! And it’s free!

June 2, 2015 at 8:52 amI can’t wait to read your post on YNAB! I really want to start using that system but I’ve been on the fence because I’m not very good with actually USING budget software. I’ve heard great things and I think I just need to take the plunge and test it out because I think it will help me when it comes to budgeting better. Looking forward to your review!
