Yes, lovelies, it’s that time of the year again. The month where you get to enjoy (or endure – you choose!) a daily post from me on this blog. I’ve been doing it for a few years now and I’ve decided that I most definitely won’t stop now!
If you don’t know what NaBloPoMo – National Blog Posting Month – is, read about it here. I’ve been participating in NaBloPoMo since it’s beginnings in 2006. As of last night, 370 people have signed up and two lucky participants will be able to win passes to the annual BlogHer conference 2016 in L.A.! Come on, you know you want to meet up there!
There are prompts if you need a little help and inspiration along the way, but I will mostly write about whatever I feel like. I am looking forward to perusing the blogroll and maybe find some new blog friends!
As my friend Kendra said so eloquently in her comment on my last post “I feel like everyone is always bemoaning that blogging is dead (or dying), yet it’s in our power to revive it by simply writing and responding to each other.” Let’s do this!
As always, I want to take the opportunity to open this space up for a little Q & A. If you’re a new reader, hello! This is your chance to say hi and ask me a question! If you have been reading my blog for a while, there might still be something that you never had the chance to ask. So, comment away!
I have a question for you, too. Are you participating in NaBloPoMo?

November 1, 2015 at 7:15 amI’m still undecided about whether or not I’m going to participate, but I guess I should make my mind up ASAP!
I’ve been making an effort to read and comment on more blogs over the past few weeks because I realized that I missed that aspect of blogging quite a bit. Even if I don’t choose to blog every day this month II’ll definitely still be checking out new blogs and commenting as much as I can.

November 1, 2015 at 8:50 amI’m not participating in it and never have but I would consider doing it some day! I don’t like it when people say blogging is dead or dying because it’s still a vibrant part of my life. I have probably capped out on the # of close relationships I will develop, but I’m still making acquaintances and connecting with others and I continue to invest in the relationships I’ve made!

November 4, 2015 at 12:48 pmIt’s definitely still a huge part of my life too! Thanks for being part of that!

November 1, 2015 at 11:58 amHa, that time of the year again! Guess I’ve been following your blog for a while :-) I’d love to read more about your current (or future) knitting projects, if you’re willing to share.

November 2, 2015 at 5:30 amI’m not participating in NaBloPoMo because I’m doing NaNoWriMo, so if I can somehow maintain continuing to write 3 posts a week on my blog WHILE doing that crazy writing challenge, it will be a miracle. Haha. :)
Good luck with this challenge!

November 2, 2015 at 3:08 pmI always give Nablopomo a shot, because I happen to love blogging and I’m not down with those people saying the blog is dead.
Let’s do this thing!

November 3, 2015 at 6:43 amI think the abbreviation “NaBloPoMo” is the worst. I don’t like it at all. :D
I would love to read a Sacremento guide for people who’ve never been to the city. Like the must sees and the hidden gems, you know?

November 4, 2015 at 12:44 pmThat’s a great idea! I did post a “Sacramento eateries” round-up a little while ago… did you see?

November 4, 2015 at 10:26 pmOhhh that time…
I actually wanted to participate this year but forgot all about it until now. And I somehow don’t feel like blogging lately. I miss it but my brain doesn’t find peace to do so. Anyway I will try commenting more as I have been trying to do.
Looking forward reading your post.
