This week was short, but felt long. I had Monday (switched my regular day off from today to Monday) and Tuesday (Veteran’s Day) off , but am working today. My sense of time is all screwed up this week. Can’t wait for the weekend to start.

I’m currently in full fall-soup-making-mode and have been cooking different stews/soups over the last few weekends. I haven’t decided what I am going to cook this weekend, so I am open for suggestions! What’s your favorite fall soup?

I didn’t really blog about it, but back in the summer, some a**hole got hold of my debit card information (+ address + telefon number = SCARY!) and used it to send multiple (check) mailings via FedEX (luckily not checks connected to my bank account). I disputed the charges right away — with my bank, FedEx fraud department and even reported it to the police. I did everything humanly possible to rectify that situation as quickly as possible. But yesterday? I got a letter from a collection agency trying to collect money for (one of the) FedEx shipments. WTF?

I know this is probably the silliest thing I have posted in a while, but today “Dumb and Dumber To” hits the theaters and I want to see it so bad! Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels making complete idiots of themselves 20 years after the original movie? You must commend them for their courage!

Did you notice/hear that you can now edit the captions (+location) of your Instagram posts? Hallelujah. I just wished they had made that possible for (your own) comments as well. Don’t know how many times I noticed a (autocorrect) typo after I hit ‘send’.
TGIF! Have a great weekend!

November 14, 2014 at 4:07 pmThat’s so frustrating what happened with your debit card. I check my bank account at least once a day because I’m always scared someone stole my info somehow and are gallivanting around making charges to my account!
Yes, I saw that Instagram finally gave us the option to edit our posts and all I have to say is it’s about time!

November 14, 2014 at 8:37 pmOne of my employers is going through the drama of fraud right now, too. YUCK. Hope it gets sorted out soon!
Have you tried butternut squash soup? My fave!

November 14, 2014 at 11:03 pmSorry to hear about your fraud thing. Hope that gets sorted out. About you soup question: how about “wirsing” or “kohlrabi” stew? I am planning on posting my grandmas recipe for the latter Sunday :-). Now I am off to an creative exhibition. Have a great weekend, Tobia

November 17, 2014 at 4:52 amUgh! So sorry to hear about the debit card fraud. Some people have nothing better to do with themselves. :( Did you keep a copy of the police report? I’m not entirely sure, but if you get one of those collection notes, I think the police report would help in that sense. I hope this gets resolved and you have no more headaches from it.
I’m so glad we can finally edit our Instagram comments! I make so many typos on my phone (because of the small keyboard) or it autocorrects words that I did not mean to insert.
