Right now, I am loving…
… a cup of tea and a good book. Always make me feel better.
… the pumpkins that we carved last weekend. I can’t believe how (relatively) easy it was to carve out some complicated-looking designs. Unfortunately, the pumpkins don’t last very long and I am afraid I might have to throw it out today or tomorrow. I want to do it again!
… the fact that I’ve already started buying my Christmas presents. I like to get an early start on this and with the plan being to jump across the big pond for Christmas, early planning is essential this year.
… that the SF Giants won the World Series on Monday for the first time since moving to SF in 1952! I wish I could have taken the day off yesterday and gone to SF for the celebratory parade down Market Street. It must have been overwhelming!
… black nail-polish.
… Sister Wives and Intervention. VERY weird, because those are two shows I thought I’d never ever in a million years succumb to watch. It’s a rather strange fascination. Can anyone explain this to me?
… compliments from a stranger.
… my newly purchased full version of Photoshop CS5, which I could have never afforded if it wasn’t for my affiliation with the university. (God, why is some software so ridiculously expensive that it’d be costing the average person an arm and a leg?)
I am totally looking forward to learning more about photo-editing and (light) design work in PS!
… the slightly warmer temperatures again this week. I didn’t even need a sweater yesterday! It’s nice that in California we’re eased into the colder season slowly.
What are you loving right now?

November 4, 2010 at 9:20 amI’m not at expert on pumpkins but I’ve heard that it helps if you spray them with hairspray after carving them. It makes it more resistent to mould and stuff.

November 4, 2010 at 10:52 amI’m loving flavored coffee! I had a sore throat last week, so I had to kick my Coke Zero to the curb for a few days. Flavored coffee filled the void rather nicely.
You pumpkins are super cool!

November 4, 2010 at 12:06 pmYour pumpkins were fantastic! Where did you get the stencils? I made a Dr. Who one a couple of years ago and it was a little challenging (and we had to give him a nose job with a tooth pick!), but I loved it!:)
Right now I am loving that there is ONE month until my wedding (!), and that tonight I am hoping to have a movie night in with the boy – we NEVER watch movies, and it’s chilly out, and I think it’s just the ticket :)

November 4, 2010 at 12:22 pmLove this. I love: spending three full weeks with my boyfriend. Catching up on missed TV shows. Planning to go see “Harry Potter 7.” Brisk weather. Boots. Entering giveaways. Pushing myself to do more things on my 101 in 1,001 List. Learning to cook. An email saying two of my close friends are engaged. And ordering Christmas gifts off Etsy!

November 4, 2010 at 1:19 pmI had every intention of being completely finished with my Christmas shopping by this point but I haven’t even started yet! I’ll probably end up doing it at the last minute, like always … Right now I’m loving baby snuggles :) Topher hugs and cuddles now, it’s the cutest thing!

November 4, 2010 at 1:50 pmI hear you on the “Sister Wives” thing. I’m not really sure I even understand the concept. I think…is this guy an egomaniac, or are the women smart because they can pawn him off on one of the others when they aren’t in the mood? LOL!

November 5, 2010 at 6:25 ami love intervention, too. sister wives we don’t get here. but i think part of the reason these shows are so fascinating is that it’s always interesting to get a look into someone else’s REAL life even if that leaves you shocked at times. another show i love: hoarders. just sayin’ ;)

November 7, 2010 at 3:25 pmI totally feel ya on getting sucked into Sister Wives and Intervention! Sister Wives is just such a strange show… I could not imagine living like that. It just blows my mind that people choose to live that lifestyle.
Tea & books is a lovely combination. So is tea & blog reading! Which is what I’m doing right now. :)
Ooh that’s exciting about getting photoshop! I agree, it’s SO expensive. I had to buy it a few years ago for a course I was taking.
