This month’s favorites are heavily influenced by my birthday, as they should be, right?
1. The Yellowstone NP virtual race medal for the virtual 10k I ran this month came in the mail and it’s BEAUTIFUL, isn’t it? It represents one of the big attractions of the park, the Grand Prismatic Spring which I really hope to visit one day.
2. I picked up one of these Noosa yogurts when there was “free offer” on my Safeway app and it’s really, really creamy and delicious.
3. I received this Mixpresso Milk frother for my birthday earlier this month and it’s so awesome. It heats + froths milk in 90 seconds and it’s super-quiet. I love it. Fancy drinks, here I come.
4. I got these running pants for my birthday as well and I love them. They’re very soft and comfortable and I love the color-gradient in the leg.
5. My MIL got me this beautiful amethyst quadrille silver pendant necklace for my birthday and I totally adore it. I love it because it’s delicate (I don’t really wear big statement pieces) and I love delicate jewelry, and because it’s purple! It’s one of my favorite colors!
6. I don’t bake cakes very often, but I really love a freshly baked marble cake every once in a while. The trick for a great texture in pound cakes is to substitute ⅓ of flour with cornstarch. You should give that a try!

April 1, 2017 at 6:40 amThat medal is beautiful! Probably the best race medal I’ve ever seen! Do you have a medal rack yet? I recommend getting one as it’s a nice way to display your racing accomplishments!
I registered for a milk frother for our wedding. I figure it will make weekend coffees just a little bit more special! It’s nice that yours is quiet! I’m always up before Phil so having something quiet is ideal so I don’t disturb him more than is necessary!

April 3, 2017 at 3:52 pmI don’t have a medal rack yet, but I need to get on that… :)
A milk frother is the perfect item for a wedding registry for sure!

April 2, 2017 at 4:38 pmI would’ve never realized that was a medal! So pretty. Also, I love Noosa. They have a pumpkin flavor in the fall (or maybe year round?) and it’s delicious.

April 3, 2017 at 3:53 pmOh, I might have to try the pumpkin flavor this fall… thanks for the tip!

April 3, 2017 at 3:41 pmI love that medal, too. Have to sign up for that 10k next time. And I love this post format. I kind of “stole” it from you (hope that’s ok), a bit different though, I don’t feature products. Just finished my “Best of March”. It’s spring break, I’m sitting in the sun and enjoying life. Only if my allergies weren’t that bad :-(
Your blog and Instagram are always inspiring. Would you like to meet in person some day? I’d love to.
Have a great day, Kathrin

April 3, 2017 at 3:54 pmCongrats on your 10k! And of course you can absolutely use this “post format” :) I enjoy reading about monthly favorites! I am so glad you got to go home to see the Dom (I’ll be going in May!)… and maybe we can meet up sometime later this summer!? I would love that. too.

I think this is the first time you’ve linked up with our group. Welcome. :)
You have so many wonderful things on your list. Your virtual race medal is gorgeous, and your necklace that your MIL gave you for your birthday sounds beautiful, too. :)
Have a great week hun.
