1. I’ve been loving my homemade granola this month. I’ve been having it for breakfast with greek yogurt, blueberries and strawberries pretty much every single day and it’s just so good.
2. I’ve started working on a new knitting project with another skein of my long gradient yarn and I can’t wait to see it grow! I am so spoiled when it comes to yarn, because this yarn is so wonderful to work with and I don’t want to buy just any cheap yarn anymore. Quality over quantity, is what it is.
3. I am back to wearing my Birkenstock Gizeh sandals religiously again. They are so comfortable!! And summer is definitely here.
4. This Shea Moisture body lotion is so lovely. It’s smells great and as it says on the label is more of a body butter, than an actual lotion. Only complaint: because of that, it’s not easy to get it out of this squeeze-bottle with a tiny hole in the cap. You have to basically unscrew the top to get it out. Oh well, worth the hassle.
5. I am still so very happy about splurging on my Kitchenaid. I’ve been using it every weekend in May, but I secretly wish I could bake something every day!
6. I’ve found some more time in May to catch up on Parenthood (I know, don’t ask me how I haven’t finished this series yet)…. I am in season 5 now and I just don’t want it to end. Ever.
What was one of your favorite things in May?

June 1, 2016 at 7:15 amI looooooooooooooove the Shea shampoo and conditioner! I actually use it for my hair and it has been fabulous! (Well for my type of hair that is.)
I didn’t want Parenthood to end either, but I think they did a good job of ending on a good note. You’ll see what I mean. :)
Can’t wait to see what you create with the new yarn!

June 1, 2016 at 7:38 amI loved Parenthood so much. I watched the entire series in a few months, and I felt like I was really losing my own family when it ended!

June 1, 2016 at 9:28 amI loved Parenthood so much. I don’t know that I will ever find a show that I will like as much as that one. Nora told me about a show that is starting this fall that is being marketed as a show for those who loved Parenthood so I will check that out. When I went to visit Amber last September, we started watching it and she got so hooked that she finished it within a couple of months! I just love the Braverman family so much!
Things I am loving this month are living with Phil, the longer hours of sunlight, bright/sunny days, spending time with my family, and being done with crutches!!!

June 3, 2016 at 2:47 amThanks for the Birkenstock recommendation. I’ve been looking for sandals with arch support for my tendonitis and I think these will do. I don’t know why it never occurred to me.

Thanks for reminding me ;-)
