I received the Planner Addict Box in the mail yesterday (review to come!) and it was the best start to my weekend! Who doesn’t like happy mail waiting for you when you come home at the end of the week?

J and I watched “Wild” last night. I meant to watch it for a while and I’m so glad we finally did, because I loved the movie. I am a big fan of Reese Witherspoon and I think she delivered a great performance. Have you seen it?

Today is laundry day and I am typing this from the laundromat waiting for our clothes that are in the dryer right now. I’ve talked about our laundry routine here and even though I can’t wait for the day when we will finally have our own washer/dryer at home, I’m trying to make the best of the time that I have to sit at the laundromat!

I have no plans this weekend other than running and starting to work on my Christmas cards and gift list. I want to keep it simple this year and prepare early, since it seems that we’ll have a lot going on the weeks before Christmas and there are only 7 weeks left! Are you one to start early on your Christmas preparations or do you wait until the last minute?

Lost a dear friend this week and can’t seem to get through it. Maybe I will go out for a long walk today and try to physically shake it off.

November 9, 2015 at 5:37 amI am usually the one to wait to the last minute when it comes to buying Christmas gifts. I start out strong and then fizzle out, until I’m like, “WAIT. Christmas is next week!” December seems to move at warp speed! (Though it was the opposite when I was a kid, ha.) I’m hoping to start some Christmas shopping this weekend, just so I can get some of it out of the way. The sooner I finish it up, the better!

Your unplanned weekend sounds amazing. This coming weekend is pretty booked up but hopefully the following weekend is quieter. I need to work on carving out time for myself. I’ve been terrible at that lately.
