On Saturday, I went to the Bay Area to visit Susi. The visit came as a prerequisite for her putting me on her Costco Account as a co-member, which I have to say is awfully nice of her (Thanks again, sweetie! :)), but was also very much anticipated as I was in dire need of some girl time.Â
It was so good to catch up and talk to someone in German (!). We had (lots of) tea, yummy salad and pasta and a really good time.
I also got my first introduction to the mysteries of the Wii.
Honestly, I had no idea what all the hype was about, but people started talking and blogging about the Wii like it was THE coolest thing in the world.Â
I almost felt a little retarded not being up-to-date with the latest video consoles.
Having never been into playing any video or computer games at all, I really couldn’t understand why everybody was going crazy about the Wii, so Susi felt the need to show me what I was missing out on (sorry, no photographic evidence at this point :)).
But honestly, it was fun! I don’t need to own one, because I know myself and I would get bored with it pretty quickly, but I could imagine playing it every once in a while. I did pretty well in Baseball and it was hilarious to watch Susi and her hubby air-box each other :) I could have fallen of the couch because I laughed so hard.
It was a fun afternoon and we promised each other to do that soon again.
