My SPF is kind of late today, but I really had to think about it this time and then there were so many ideas and none at the same time. So, here’s the result:
Being able to take the train and see my friends is my freedom. Trains in Germany can take you anywhere in the country in a decent time [although punctuality isn’t -as many might assume – always the case. Oh well, if you do have as much free time on your hands as I do, it doesn’t really matter too much.]
2. Your Hope
I hope that I will be able to spend a lot of time with my family in the future. Moving to the US and not being able to see my family on a regular basis will be the hardest thing for me to do. My sister and I are [fraternal] twins – as you might already know- and we do miss each other a lot. I can’t imagine not having her around anymore, although we have been separated for extended periods of time before. I am also going to miss my parents a lot.
Still, I know that we’re close at heart and nothing can change that.
3. Your Wish
My wish is for this damn ocean to shrink, so we could “take a train” from Germany to the US or vice versa to see our friends or loved-ones. The distance definitely sucks and I wish for everyone who is in a long distance relationship right now for it to be over as soon as possible. Nothing is more unfair than not being able to be with the one you love.
So, did you play? Let us know.

September 8, 2006 at 1:13 pmAwww, that’s such a nice entry. It’s hard to be seperated from your family and the one’s you love at home. And being apart from you sweetheart is terrible. I guess we are really torn between the worlds. Crossing my fingers that your wish comes true really soon!

September 8, 2006 at 1:19 pmThanks for stopping by.
I can’t even imagine being away from family for so long like that.
The train looks like a fun ride. I was able to briefly see some of Germany several years ago – before we had kids. We really enjoyed our time.
I hope you are able to find happiness during your time here in America.

September 8, 2006 at 1:27 pmThe train looks great! I wish we had something like that around here.
It is hard to be far away in physical distance from your family. You are fortunate to having a strong emotional bond already and that will sustain you when the physical distance is great. That is a wondefully joyous picture of your family.
Have a great Friday and thanks for stopping by mine. :-)

September 8, 2006 at 2:24 pmhey sweets, i knew you couldn’t do without SPF :) and it IS funny that be both used google-earth this week. i know it’s gonna be tough being away from your family. i may have to face the same think in the future… but i know it’s the right thing to do in order to be with the one we love the most. we both know how it is to be separated from our men and that we just couldn’t be happy without them. one way or the other everything’s gonna work out and fall into place. and who knows, maybe you’ll be back with your family some time in the future…
