  1. Oooh lots of good stuff in here, thanks San! I saw that Cup of Jo post about the inexpensive things that make your life better, it was great!

    1. Thanks Nicole. I try to share what I find interesting :)

  2. That chicken sausage skillet recipe looks delicious! I have to try that one.

    1. I am making that skillet this week!

      1. We had it last night, it was really good!

  3. The impact of genetics on your ability as an athlete is very interesting and timely. Phil is naturally athletic and I am not. We had completely different experiences in organized sports because he was above average to average at everything he did and I was below average at every team sport. So he cannot imagine having anything but a positive experience in team sports. So much comes down to genetics and it seems like Paul got my athletic abilities genes. We are still exposing him to lots of different activities but when you have very little natural ability, it’s a very different experience… But we still hope he finds something he loves. I think if my school has cross country, I would have loved that sport but our school was too small for that. So Paul will have way more options to choose from!

    1. I had a very similar experience as Phil, so I have a hard time understanding when kids struggle with physical activities (but of course I understand intellectually that not everybody has the same experience and it definitely comes down to letting kids try different things and find something that they like!). It’s fantastic that you’re giving your boys these opportunities.

  4. I think the author of the Kind Not Nice article is neither, to be honest. LOL. Thank you notes aren’t just about etiquette (and I will STAND BY THIS). A thank you note indicates that you have received a gift or service and you acknowledge that. Yes, it’s work to find a card, an address, and a stamp, but if you’re an adult, this should be something you are capable of and if you’re thanking someone for something, they’ve put effort in (to buy you the gift, provide you with a service) and the least you can do is acknowledge it with a note. I…am dumbfounded by that article!

    1. I agreed with some things and disagreed with others in this article… I do think that niceness sometimes poses for kindness when in fact it’s just a front, but I also agree that it’s really not a big deal to write thank you cards LOL

  5. I always love your roundups! So many good links on different topics I’m interested in. I’m a sucker for clutter free links.

Chicken and white bean skillet looks yum! I LOVE beans. I am curious about the protein waffles as well, I love waffles but don’t usually cook with cottage cheese. Would be curious for a review if you make them.

    1. Thanks Rachel, I try to share things that I find worthwhile! I’ll be making that skillet this week… and will report back about the protein waffles.

  6. Your link lists are always so interesting, I look forward to reading them. I also like that you often post free printable or crafts. I’m not super crafty but internet resources make me feel like I am. Thanks!

    1. Thank you Tamara for stopping by and I am glad you appreciate the links I shared :)

  7. great links! thanks for sharing. I like kids planner labels and the tech backgrounds. although season don’t change here, each month feels somewhat different.
I use 3-4 pairs in rotation.

    1. Thank you Coco, and you’re welcome :)

  8. Not getting great internet here – Reg is driving us home from MN after a college visit, but the de-clutter one is something I should probably read. I’m curious about the Zillow Altar Ego. Sounds funny. Thanks for sharing. *Oh, I love beans too, but I just started a low FODMAP diet and no beans. Dang. I’m also REALLY missing cheese.

    1. Ugh, the FOODMAP diet is rough, but I hope you won’t have to abstain from beans and cheese forever!

  9. Oh so much good stuff. Defining need to read that article about productivity apps. Evernote was so annoying today as I needed to update and then had to log in online but could get into th downloaded version since only one device. It sucks. I have been using my apple nots for some stuff to test it out but am not yet convinced.

    1. Thanks Tobia. I know you’re also looking for an alternative for Evernote… the recent ‘policy change’ is ridiculous.

  10. You have so many great links here! I especially appreciate the 2025 calendar! I

    1. Thank you, Michelle, glad you like the round-up :)

  11. Downloaded the 2025 calendar- thank you, San! Also, went dow the rabbit hole of the cup of Jo post about inexpensive things and got overwhelmed lol

  12. You are always so great about finding great links every month! I really liked that timeblocking article and I think I’m going try it out.

I also can’t believe it’s been 10 years since Robin Williams passed away!

    1. Thanks Stephany, I always try to share the links I find worthwhile :)

  13. Ooh, i love a good link list, and there are some great articles here. I read a bunch of them- I like the one about which athletic traits are most hereditary (and the fact that flexibility is #1 doesn’t surprise my one bit.) I’m going to come back and read the time blocking one when I have more… time. : )

    1. The article about the athlete’s traits was so interesting!

  14. Always love these, as you know. My problem with moving away from Evernote is that I literally just use it for notes. And, exporting to Notion has been difficult, to say the least. Things get lost and/or don’t import, for no reason. I think I’m pretty much stuck. Sigh.
I did not yet check out the timeblocking link but Stephany’s comment makes me think I need to! :)
