feeling nostalgic because a year ago I was having the best time skiing with my family in Italian Alps and I want to go back there.
drinking rosehip tea. So good.
adoring my new #momentumjewelry inspirational bracelet. Because we all need a positive message these days, am I right?
listening to NPR.
loving the early morning sunbeams in our kitchen. Still not tired of it (and never will be).
reading Room by Emma Donoghue. (This was an interesting book, albeit the narrating style needed some getting used to.)
excited about the race medal and t-shirt for the Yellowstone National Park Virtual 10k that came in the mail this week!
eating plain Trader Joe’s O’s. Do you like to snack on plain cereal? I am apparently 5 years old.
enjoying some runs around the park in the glorious spring-like weather we had last week (well, it’s raining again now. Ha!).
shaking my head about the way the ‘so-called president’ treated our German chancellor Angela Merkel (and the German journalists) last week. I mean, could he be any more disrespectful?
packing boxes for our internal office move. As I mentioned, my co-worker and I shared a corner office and now have to move into cubicles. This is happening this week. I do not like, but I’ll be trying to make my cube as homey as I can.
working from home today while IT breaks down our computers. I don’t usually work from home, but it’s a nice option to have.

March 21, 2017 at 3:03 pmYour kitchen is so swoony!!! Love that view!
The Cheeto’s interaction with Chancellor Merkel was HORRIFIC. I cannot. I just can. not.

March 25, 2017 at 10:41 amThank you! The kitchen is definitely the best room in the house :)

March 21, 2017 at 6:51 pmFirst, I’m getting that Momentum bracelet. I can’t believe I waited too long and it was sold out.
Second, what do you think of Room? I hated it. It put me in a really bad place mentally.

March 25, 2017 at 10:41 amRoom was…. weird. I really had to get used to the writing style (it annoyed me at times) and it fell a little flat for me in the end…
Did you get the Momentum bracelet? It’s back in stock!

March 21, 2017 at 7:31 pmYour kitchen is so lovely. I eat plain cereal as a snack all the time, Erik thinks I’m crazy (he can only have it at breakfast with milk).

March 25, 2017 at 10:43 amHa, I am glad I am not the only one who eats plain cereal ;)

March 22, 2017 at 4:34 amYou should totally go back to the Alps. And take me with you. And really let’s move over there.
I was horrified by how he treated Merkel Absolutely horrified. I can’t even put into proper words my disgust. He’s absolutely horrible, one of the worst humans ever.
I think I mentioned that I put twinkly lights in my cubicle right? Definitely makes it cozier.
san
March 25, 2017 at 10:43 amWhen will you be ready? :)
I’ll be moving into my cube on Monday (I think)… so yeah, thinking about all the things I want to get to make it homey… twinkle lights are on my list :)

March 22, 2017 at 11:58 amI love plain cereal! But I’m more into multigrain o’s. Get a little baby plant for your cube!
san
March 25, 2017 at 10:44 amOh, I like the multigrain O’s, too. Good choice! And yes, a plant for my cube… definitely!

March 22, 2017 at 4:01 pmThe Cheeto is just an abomination in every sense of the word. I just keep praying for impeachment. It’s gotta happen, right?!
Moving from a shared office and into a cubicle will definitely be a change, but there are plenty of ways to make it homey. What’s funny about my office is that most of the cubicles that have guys have just about nothing except for a computer and maybe a pad of paper and a cup with pens. The cubicles with women are FILLED with homey decorations and pictures. :)
san
March 25, 2017 at 10:45 amIt MUST happen… soon! ARGH!
Haha, this is so true about the difference between guys’ and girls’ cubes… I noticed that in other parts of our office building. So funny.

March 23, 2017 at 8:03 amThat’s cool that your Garmin displays that message on its face. I am pretty sure mine doesn’t do that!
I am just flabbergasted at all things Trump right now. If anyone is a bad hombre, it’s him. I’m also appalled at Nunes’s behavior yesterday. Like wtf? You run up to the whitehouse to give what is potentially classified info to someone under investigation without discussing it with your counterparts on the intelligence committee? What the heck was he thinking. We need an independent investigation BADLY. That guy is a total and complete moron and I’m so upset!!!

March 25, 2017 at 10:47 amThe “I RUN THIS BODY” message is available through the GARMIN Face It app…. it didn’t come with my watch, but I love it. Take a look!
I totally agree, there are some really bad, stupid people running our government right now. I don’t have words for all of this anymore, but I am glad they didn’t get the AHCA through the House yesterday – a bill they had been working on for 7 years! I mean, honestly, it’s so ridiculous… but hey, I take it. Small victories.
