Apple Cake

  • 150 gram flour (5.6 oz)
  • 1 tsb baking powder
  • 75 gram sugar (2.65 oz)
  • 1 egg
  • 75 gram sugar (2.65 oz)
  • 1 sleeve vanilla sugar
  • 75 gram butter (2.65 oz)
  • 4-5 boscop apples (I used Granny Smith)
  • butter (small pieces)


  • Mix the flour and baking powder. Then add sugar, vanilla sugar, egg and butter and knead until smooth. Use a small spring-form pan and spread the dough on the bottom.
    Peel the apples, cut in quarters and slice each quarter lengthwise. Then arrange the quarters on the dough. Spread small piece of butter on the top. 
    Bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 45 minutes.
