  1. That Huffington Post article “The Mistake I Made With My Griefing Friend” was really interesting. It explained “conversational narcissism” and the difference between a shift response and a support response in a very understandable way. An excellent reminder.
One of my favourite weekly reads is http://www.marksdailyapple.com. On Fridays he posts a “link love” post with a lot of health-related information.

    1. Thank you for the recommendation!

  2. The potatoes in the waffle maker I have done and it’s delish! Great links and fun to check them out.

    1. Oh, that’s good to know that it works! Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Thanks for sharing these! The Five Email Folders post really makes me wonder if I can implement this at work. It totally makes sense and would help prioritize when I’ve got stuff coming from all directions.

    1. I know, right? I am definitely considering giving this a try.

  4. I need the potato waffles, and my Gmail needs the five folders.

    1. I want to try the potato waffles asap! :)

  5. So many good articles! The relationship one is interesting. I think that Phil and I have those skills but didn’t intentionally develop them – it just sort of happened, or maybe we developed the skills over the lengthy time we spent single in our 20s?

I actually do not use folders at work anymore to sort email. I read a productivity article ages ago that said it’s easier to just keep everything in one email box so it’s easier to search, so that’s what I have done. I do need to be better about deleting things that I will never reference again, though!

    1. The relationship article was interesting to me too. I am sure some people have these skills, naturally, some develop them and some never have them. LOL

I have not used folders at work (or home) either, but I label all the email that is important/belongs to a certain project/person, which helps me find things more easily.

  6. Omg those leftover mashed potatoes in waffle makers! I want that so badly 😋 you always share such interesting and diverse links. Like the one about the American dream and the lemonade stand 😥 so sad. Also I totally need to know about the five folders you need for emails. Mine are so disorganized and it makes me crazy!

  7. Ooh I love that DIY photo lantern. So pretty.

  8. The article about the email habit is so interesting… not sure if I could work like it but definitely something to ponder.
