This made me think of you, Kate. It’s time to say goodbye to topsheets for good. (FYI, they’ve never been a thing in Germany.)

  1. Thanks for including my post in your round-up. So glad you’ve enjoyed my tips for what to do in Northern California! Interesting that you mentioned not using top sheets in Germany–I’m in Brazil now and they’re rarely used here, too.

  2. I didn’t know that about sheets! We do use the non-fitted sheet that goes in between the fitted sheet and our duvet. I think I need to rethink this!!

  3. I’m definitely pro top sheet, but we don’t run our a/c much in the summer so I often sleep with just the top sheet on top of me! But I know it’s a millennial thing to not use a top sheet.

I need to look at the Gmail tips email!

  4. I am Team No Top Sheet, and I expressed that on Kate’s post about it, haha. I had no idea there were such strong feelings about the top sheet, though. Gimme a comforter ANY day.

  5. I love the top sheet debate. I’ve done both and I have to say, I think I like the top sheet better. I don’t know if that’s just more familiar or what, but I feel cozier and more contained with the top sheet.
