My Christmas Wish List

I saw some lovely blog friends share their Christmas Wishlist and I thought it would be fun to share mine (even though my biggest wish is already coming true!).

ChristmasWishList2011

  1. Enzo Angiolini “Saylem” Riding Boots. I’ve been looking for some boots for quite a while (and you need to know, I am pretty picky when it comes to shoes) and those were love at first sight. Actually I have to confess that I bought them for myself last week.  For Christmas.
Ahem, who buys Christmas presents for themselves? I do, apparently.
  2. Season 1 of Friends. Well, actually, I am hoping to own all the seasons at some point, but you gotta start at the beginning, right?
  3. New skis. Since I will be going skiing again with my family for the first time in like, oh, maybe 6 years, I realized that I don’t own skis anymore. That is something I can hardly fathom, because I’ve owned my own skis (and snowboard) since I was 4 years old. Skis were not something I could easily take to California, so they were left behind at my parents’ house. The ones I had last are so out of date now that I really need to consider getting some new ones sometime. This is basically a hypothetical wish – I know I definitely won’t get new skis this Christmas.
  4. Bumble & Bumble Thickening Shampoo, Conditioner and Spray. I was first introduced to this hair care line at my hair salon and I just love it. It really helps manage my fine hair and adds some volume. If it wasn’t so darn expensive.
  5. Gift cards. You know, I am not opposed to giftcards. Or not as much as I used to think I was. Amazon, Michaels, Kohl’s, Sephora, L’Occitane, Target, Ikea, Trader Joe’s, Panera, Starbucks. All GREAT. Actually, gift cards are pretty nice. I take a gift card to one of my favorite shops over a thoughtlessly picked out gift (that shows that the person doesn’t know me at all) any day. Plus, they’re easy to ship!
  6. The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown. The subtitle reads “Let go of who you think you’re supposed to be and embrace who you are”. That seems like pretty good advice to me and I am really intrigued by this book.
  7. Fisheye, Macro, Wide Angle & Telephoto Phone Lenses for my iPhone. Not much explanation needed here, right?
  8. Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon DSRL. After getting the 50mm lens for my birthday, I’d really love to expand my lens collection and get something with a bit more zoom!
  9. Hope in a Jar. I heard really good things about this moisturizer. Unfortunately, it’s pretty pricey and I haven’t been able to justify spending the money. But, come on, it’s HOPE in a jar. Maybe it’s worth it?!
  10. Willow Tree Nativity Set. I really adore all of the Willow Tree figurines (I own three and have given several as gifts!) and the simplicity of this nativity set is really lovely.
  11. A money tree. Yeah, wouldn’t we all like one of those? What I honestly wish for is for me (and everyone!) to have enough money to pay bills and to not worry about every penny that we spent. I think being able to have this peace of mind is worth more than anything.
  12. Time with family and friends. This is truly my biggest wish every year and I am so stoked that I will be able to make this wish come true and see my family and friends in Germany in a little more than a week. It’ll be hard to be away from J, but we’ll make up for it before I leave and in the new year!
  1. I love the Willow Tree Nativity set too! My Christmas wish list this year is short: apart from time with friends and family, the only thing on my list is a Norwex mop. I’m such a dork :D

  2. I have a new lens on my gift list, too. That and wool socks are pretty much the only things I want.

  3. Oooh, this is a really great list! Especially the lens & the MONEY TREE! hehe. :)

  4. ooh love your list. especially that money tree, that’s always on my wishlist, haha.

hope you get all sorts of fabulous things and everything on your list of course, woo.

  5. Love your list!! I want to own all the seasons of Friends too, I like that they’re all on sale right now but it’s still so expensive to get all 10!

  6. What a great list! I think that I need to do one of these lists too. Hope in a Jar is fantastic!

  7. i got the big zoom lens 2 years ago and this year iam hoping for the 50mm…LOL! and i didn’t know you could buy lenses for the iphone, how stinkin’ cute. LOVE.
would love the “friends” set aswell.
wishing you a merry christmas, san, and hoping you’ll find some of the goodies underneath the tree <3

  8. No offence but your list came tooo late LOL…. oh well some of these are good birthday ideas :P

Love ya and miss ya heaps – Hope you have a fabulous Chrissy :-) xoxoxox

  9. I would love to have new skis one of these days. I haven’t gone skiing in a few years, mostly because the combo of renting skis AND paying for a lift ticket is so expensive!

Do you get Sephora e-mails? They constantly have fun gift sets and specials for the Hope in a Jar.

  10. Ah, yes, a money tree. I would also like one of those, especially at this time of year! ;)

  11. Love your list. I LOVE b&b hair products on my fine hair, too, & I REALLY want those iPhone lenses. I have to admit, though, I’m a little bit afraid of Willow Tree figurines. WHY DON’T THEY HAVE FACES?
