I am pretty sure I might actually have forgotten some songs that are near and dear to me, probably because I haven’t listened to them in a long time, even though I’ve spent quite some time this weekend trying to compile the songs for my Life Soundtrack.
Most of those songs really send goosebumps down my spine when I hear them.

I am really curious to know which songs do that for you. Again, make sure you check out LaMidge‘s Life Soundtrack and share your own list!!

  1. Ooh, what a great collection of songs…most of them fit perfectly as my list as well! Great taste hun!
    xxx

  2. PLEASE DONT GO GUUUURRRR-RRLLL! omg. And 5th grade just came flooding back.

  3. i actually made my soundtrack back in college but haven’t really revised it since and oh does it need revising now, haha.

i know for sure it would have “Hey Girl” by O.A.R. but that’s all i’ve got for now, haha.

  4. You and Me by Lifehouse holds so many memories for me.

    1. My husband sang that for me at our wedding <3

  5. Good Soundtrack :) Music is amazing at bringing back memories. One of the cool things about here it is that I could be in a store, not know a thing of German and be unable to communicate but yet the music is still in English lol :)

  6. Thinking about so many of your songs takes me way back to random times in my life. “Everything You Want” was THE song for my high school years. Great soundtrack!

  7. I just may have to do one of these posts myself! What a cool idea. I loved hearing what your life soundtrack is. :D

  8. I adore “Let Go” by Frou Frou. So good! My soundtrack would include “Blurry” by Puddle of Mudd and anything Matthew Good.

  9. Ok, ok, ok…HOLD THE PHONE–You like Heroes del Silencio? Uhm, that is only like my FAVORITE Spanish Rock song of ALL TIME!!

Oh San, I knew there was a reason I liked you so much *smile*

Thanks for sharing this lovely list, I’m gonna listen to the German one now :)

  10. OMG, I totally forgot about “Entre dos tierras”…not that it has any special meaning for me but it vaults me back into the early/mid 90ties right away. Awesome!

  11. Isn’t it amazing how much music matters to identity? Looking back, I remember listening to the Beatles and James Taylor and Mozart in the car with my parents. And teaching my tiny sister the words to Pearl Jam’s “Daughter” and listening over and over to Sarah MacLachlan while studying for college finals and to Coldplay’s “Yellow” while waiting for my first child to arrive… Thank you for reminding me of this. I think I might have to post about the power of music now!
