17: Letters to the Universe

Dear Smoke  – you’ve overstayed your welcome. The last week has been awful. Please leave.

Dear Rain – you can’t come fast enough. We haven’t had any significant rain here in Northern California this season and it’s time for you to show up. We need you bad. Please and thank you.

Dear Jerry and Gavin – I did not envy your job today. I am so very sorry you had to deal with Trump in person today. But hey, at least he came out to “tour” the areas devastated by the  wildfires ( but I ask you, who at MSNBC in their right mind uses the word “tour” to describe the visit of a natural disaster zone? What is wrong with people?)

Dear Hackers – whoever you are, whatever your intention, please do not hijack my blog again. It’s just a teeny-tiny personal blog, it’s much more hassle for me than benefit to you (I am sure).

(In case you had tried to visit my blog this weekend, it had been hijacked and I spent the better part of my Saturday night bringing my blog back to life. Hey, at least I squeezed in my NaBloPoMo post at the very last minute – although you probably didn’t see it in time.)

Dear Running – I miss you. I hope to be back soon.

What letters would you like to put out into the universe today?!

  1. Yeah, TheInbetweenismine is back up! You fixed it !!!!

Rain is in the forecast so I really hope it is going to happen asap. In the meantime, please stay inside. Soon you will be able to run outside again, I hope!

  2. Awww, letters to the universe! MY FAVORITE!!!

Ooof, I’m so sorry to hear about your blog getting hijacked! How did you get it back up and running? What a pain, and I’m glad you’re back in action.

I’ve been thinking about you and all of my Cali friends. I’m so devastated by these wildfires :( Glad you are making out okay and hopefully the smoke dissipates soon. Also, I’m not even going to comment on T’s idiotic statements because it’s just been one moronic thing after another and it elevates my blood pressure.

Hope you’re able to get out there and run again soon. HUGS!!!

  3. I’m sorry to hear about your blog. I swear it drives me nuts when things like that happen. I’m like “excuse me, there’s nothing you’re going to gain from hacking my little space.” lol

I’m sending you all SO MUCH love and positive vibes for rain! I hope it comes soon!

  4. Oh my gosh I am so sorry you were hacked. Some people are just the worst! I am sending all good vibes your way for less smoke and hopefully rain soon. I’m glad you are still safe, but I still hope for clearer skies ASAP.

  5. So sorry about your blog! That is the worst! And I’m with you on all your other letters.
“Pleasure” – really?? Jerry’s face was the best.
And if it wouldn’t be so sad, it’d be funny. But then, it is not and brings up so much “fremdschämen”. You know!

  6. Sorry you were hacked. And glad you are back. I would be so overwhelmed not knowing what to do.

  7. Omg what the heck?? Why would someone try to hack your blog??? People really suck. :( Glad it’s back up and running.

Did you know the orange turd called it “Pleasure” instead of Paradise? Idiot.

I really hope you guys get rain soon. Lots and lots of it.

  8. Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry you had to deal with all that hacker business! I’m glad you got everything squared away, but that must have been so stressful!

These California wildfires are breaking my heart. They’re so scary!

  9. Ugh, that is annoying that you had to deal with hackers. I’m glad you got it figured out – what a crappy thing to deal with!

The wild fires are just awful. I saw a clip about Trump trying to compare us to Finland and how they have their fires under control. What a moron. I am sure he did not research before making that statement. He probably read a tweet about Finland and fires and now considers himself an expert. God he is intolerable.

  10. Hackers are awful. Hope the rain comes soon!

  11. My blog got hacked a few weeks ago too – I couldn’t get in at all and it was a whole dumb mess. I’m glad you were able to get yours back up and running!
